Nice, I'm good to go
First, this isn't like my mommas old typewriter, that she used when in collage back in the 60's. WOW. It arrived in good working order as stated by the seller.Iv,e been trying to find one that works. To many sellers out there that say it still works, but they don't. The one I received from this seller works. It will take me a while to get used to it, because it has so many different functions then my mom's old Olivetti. Need this for printing on smaller paper for taking notes, and on 3X5 cards, and even envelopes. I could never get my word processor on my P C formatted to print envelopes. With this Brother ML300, i can, and much more.

A Dud From the Start
If you happen to get one that works, it seems like this would be a nice product. I didn't get one that works.In my case, none of the letters were "finished" (the bottoms of the letters were left off) and the space bar would alternately not work at all or stick. And these were the problems we discovered in the first couple minutes of trying to use the product; who knows what else didn't work right either.Normally I wouldn't have purchased a product with as many negative reviews for flat out not working from the day the package was opened as this item has. But as others have said, there's basically nobody making these things any more, so I didn't feel I had much choice. Unfortunately I got one of what appear to be the many defective ones.

Great typewriter!
I unpacked the typewriter, it was packaged very well! I plugged it in, adjusted the ribbon and it typed great! Oh, and my cat like the box! Thanks!

Great for envelopes
These days it's quite an elaborate process to put an envelope into your printer so everyone ends up handwriting their addresses on their envelopes. This is very unprofessional in the business setting. That, combined with the fact that apparently penmanship isn't taught in school any longer, prompted me to buy this little Brother typewriter so that our staff would stop scribbling addresses to our customers and colleagues. Sweet. Set the tabs for them and they actually like it.

GREAT PRODUCT
GREAT PRODUCT. WORKS REALLY WELL AND HAS CLEAR AND PRECISE TYPE. THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY NEGATIVE IS THAT IT IS A LITTLE BIT HARD TO LINE UP UNTIL YOU GET USED TO IT. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD ORDER ANOTHER ONE TODAY.
