SRAM X.9 Trigger Shifter for 10-Speed Systems

So far so good. Nice upgrade over my x7 shifters, but those lasted 5 years without any major issues. The x7's finally got a cracked housing and a stripped out screw hole. A little bit crisper shifting, although I did my cables and shifter at the same time, I believe the cable upgrade got me 95% there. I say that because I put the x7's back on and they did just fine. I wanted to run something a little less cracked/broken. We'll see how these stand up to my future crashes. I like the design better, you can change cables without taking it off the bar and risking the spring flying somewhere in your garage, etc.

I feel if a product thoroughly meets my expectations it receives 5 stars.The product is built well and functions well. The only complaint I have is the thickness of the body. It doesn't seem to be made to mesh well with the brake lever. It's forced to sit at an odd angle because the body is so thick. It works, just not what I would call comfortable to access for shifting. Please know I'm not talking about weight, it's the thickness. I'm not OCD about weight, I want it to function well and be dependable. The shifter is dependable. I would probably consider a different shifter next time because of the design. My 4 star review is purely subjective to my use and not the function or build of the shifter.

I'm not totally sure why I bought the same shifter that I snapped off my bike before...For functionality I give this 5 stars, but for durability I give it 1.It works great. Easy to set up and adjust.The one issue is that I run this on my downhill bike and the shifter attaches to the bars with a single bolt.If you happen to hit your shifter in a fall (like I did) there is no way it doesn't snap off.

I purchased these to replace my X 7 Trigger that broke on a small fall. I was shocked how easy the mounting bracket broke. Other than that, I like the quicker shifting that they provide over the X 7's that I bought with the bike. Durability seems to be an issue here but performance does not falter. The price was less than I expected for a set and my local bike shop, Red Rock Bicycle, put them on for no charge.

I purchased this to replace my 9sp X0 shifter that came with a bike I purchased used. I really wanted to go to a 1X10 setup and didn't want to spend X0 pricing.On the bench there is no doubt that the X0 feels better built, smoother, lighter and higher quality. However on the trail all I notice is an extra gear and better climbing with the extra lower gear. Feel, ergonomics and smoothness seem identical in the real world.It doesn't look as fancy but I would definitely save the cash and buy X9 again.

Super fast delivery and a great shifter. It was super easy to install and came with a new full length cable. The plastic part that failed on the X.7 shifter is the same part on the X.9. But for the price i'm very happy.

I don't have any concerns about it's functionality and have been happy with it in that regard. Less than 100 miles of use, though, and I took a bit of a fall and had it snap right off of the piece that attaches to the screws. The metal broke in two. The contact was with loose soil, leaves, etc.--no rocks or particularly hard ground.

Shifts smooth and easy to set up. My only complaint is the reach is not the best for my small hands. But still good enough for on the fly shifts

I damaged my SRAM X7 shifter on a recent ride and decided to upgrade to the X9 as a replacement. This has a metal casing, unlike the plastic of the X7. I found it really easy to install onto my bike and the indexing was really simple. The performance has been amazing!!Really recommend this, you'll never look back.

I rate the function of this shifter, but unfortunately I would say that they can't take much abuse. I'm now on my third one in 3 months. Fair enough the last one took a big hit in a crash, but the one previous to that snapped off from a slight knock from my knee. Both times the metal housing cracked apart. I'd rather that the mount to the handlebar broke, at least that should be cheaper to replace?

Bei meiner letzten Transalp-Tour war mein schöner X0-Hebel gebrochen...also eher das Alugehäuse an der Unterseite der X0-Schalteinheit.Aus Zeitmangel habe ich mir den X9-Shifter besorgt und während der letzten Transalp mit 10.000HM gefahren.Was soll ich sagen: Alles klar mit dem Teil. Schaltet ebenso sauber wie der X0...auch unter Last.Der X9 ist ETWAS schwerer und hat keine Möglichkeit die Shifter-Winkel für die Daumen einzustellen...das brauchte ich aber beim X0 auch nicht einstellen, da die Shifterwinkel für mich (und viele Andere) sowieso perfekt sitzen.Eigentlich wollte ich mir nun ursprünglich noch einen X0-Shifter holen, damit alles 'sauber' an den restlichen X0-Komponenten meines Litevilles aussieht. Das knicke ich mir jetzt da ich mit den X9er vollkommen glücklich bin.Das Teil ist ebenso robust verarbeitet. Bin glücklich und ENDE :-)

Por si alguien tuviese alguna duda sobre si es un mando o los dos, yo tuve la duda porque la descripción es escasa. Vienen el derecho (10v) y el izquierdo (2v). También decir que viene con las abrazaderas al manillar.

Compre para reemplazar mis antiguo X5 y solo puedo decir que la diferencia en calidad es abismal, el cambio funciona a la perfección ademas que su ajuste fue muy fácil.
