0.6mm Ritza Tiger Thread - Waxed Polyester Braided Thread for Hand Sewing Leather (Mini Spool 25 Meters) ?(Green (Mini Spool))

I had never used braided polyester thread before, but I ordered several colors and sizes to handstitch leather Bible covers with. So far, I have liked the quality of Ritza. The darker colors like brown seem to hold their color well over a long stitch run, but the orange I tried eventually lost some of it's brightness after being passed through the leather so many times.Overall I like it and continue to look for sellers of small quantities like this spool.

I have used different types of waxed thread over the years but none compare to this thread. I was used to thread fraying in the middle of stitching my projects, or wax just accumulating in certain areas... it was annoying. I saw this thread on a youtube video and got me a spool... and then another... and then another... now I buy them full size. Out of all the issues I may run into during a project, thread is never one of them. This thread is truly amazing. It’s super tough, it’s tightly put together, it’s super easy to work with, and it looks so amazing on any project! I can’t recommend it enough.

This thread is the best thread I’ve used yet. It just feels strong, I can tell there’s real durability to this thread by the threads ability to hold itself upright. What I mean is, I take 6-8 inches of the thread between two fingers and horizontally straighten it and under its own durability it holds itself straight. I Believe that’s more than the wax.I also have noticed the density of the thread when I’m trying to pierce the thread with my needle, I do this to tie the thread onto the needle.

Easy to use and very good quality

Tiger thread is great but pricey.

I tried the 0.8 of the same brand but found it a little too bulky for my projects. The 0.6 is much easier to sew with (and easier on the needles).The thread is nicely waxed and still a good thickness and strength for hand-sewing leather projects.

Didn't know if I would like this thread, I am use to commercial sewing machine thread (polyester and nylon) also sail thread. For leather this seems perfect, good feel and threads through needles fairly easily. The .080 thread is fairly thick, for smaller projects the .060 is perfect. Great t selection of colors.

The best leather thread I've used, period. Far better than the Tandy thread, which frayed like crazy and looked cheap on nice leather. Also the thread was not over-waxed, like others I've tried. Will be using Tiger Thread from now on.
