Kicker 40CS6934 6x9 inch 3-Way Speakers

The fact that you can get a pair of these 6x9s for this price is almost stealing. I dont even have my amp hooked up yet and these things are jamming off of factory head unit. The bass is unreal especially considering they are in the door and not a box. I am about to order the last available pair so I will have 1 pair in door, a pair of inexpensive cerwin vega 6x9 in back doors and the other pair of these in boxes in the back (2016 Jeep Compass). The kickers will be hooked up to a 1000 watt MAX 4 channel amp. Prob gonna push 100 watts rms to each speaker. Cant wait to hear the final product.

The 5 star is a qualified rating. For $78, the sound quality is impressive. A word of warning: I almost returned these because one of them sounded like the speaker was broken. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the transistor just underneath the tweeter and midrange speakers was hanging too low and dragging on the larger speaker. So when playing, you'd get a sound like something was wrong. I just crimped the transistor and wire with my fingers and that fixed the problem.

item actually came damaged as these speakers are very fragile in the middle tweeter without the support bracket. However, these sound amazing when they have an EXTERNAL AMP powering them (which is my setup). I would assume that a stock radio that pushes 12-15Watts RMS would sound decent once the volume got high enough but for you to get the full experience with these they do require an extra power source to push it. Now with that being said, I have these setup and I don't even feel I need a separate subwoofer to get the low bass tones, but since I have one I am going to use it. Very happy with this (minus the damaged one, but just got a refund and bought again) and since shipping damage is not manufacture fault (poor design is though, so minus 1 star) I am rating it that I like it.

I am very picky when it comes to my sound systems. I have 4 of these in the cabin of my boat and 4 kicker 8 inch marine speakers on the deck. They are hooked up directly to a sony marine stereo that has 40 watts per channel rms.and the sound is fantastic. Highs and lows. for 6x9s. Also got them quickly and in great shape.

These speakers replaced the factory Boston Acoustics in my 2010 Camaro SS. They really complimented the Kicker CVR104 10" Subwoofers that I have in the trunk. These speakers deliver nice bass along with streaming mids. When listening to the music, I can actually hear the twang of the cymbols and the high hats going on. Plus, the clarity of the voice from the singer(s) sounds really nice with these speakers. For the price that I paid for these, I was very satisfied!

First off the sound quality on these speakers are second to none. I took a chance on ordering speakers online because I usually like to hear what they sound like before money is exchanged and I won. If you own a dodge ram with 6x9 in the door then look no further. Absolutely no clearance issue whatsoever and did I mention they sound great. Highly recommended

Installed in a standard cab dodge ram, and I can't turn my volume up all the way, for fear of my ears bleeding. I've got my deck set for rock, so I'm not trying to push bass thru them, and the mids n highs are excellent and very clear. I'm going to buy the CS series 5.25s for my rears, after hearing these in my doors.

Be careful. box was still factory sealed, however both of the mid and hi speakers in the middle were completely broken off at the base, inside the speaker making it useless . When I went to return these it says : "For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon.com." which is BS, its just a magnet. I did contact amazon, and got a refund so no hard feelings, just have to order from someone else.

Like the speakers. Would buy again. Good bass when put in a box. Dont distort easy.

Bought it, to replace my rear shelf stock bass speakers. Good quality, easy replacement. Together with my Alpine Radio sounds very well.
