I ordered this because I love the 5 blade cartridges. This morning, 4 months short of being 1 year old the handle completely fell apart. It was a good looking razor although it was very heavy and felt out of balance. Another case of pretty not being better and in this case it is much less than the less expensive option found at the local drug store.

This razor handle is ok. It's a little shorter than ideal, but it worked well. Unfortunately, after less than 2 months of use, the mechanism that holds the razors to the handle failed, which makes the handle useless. Not recommended.

The razor I recieved arrived in a rather shabby looking Grutti box and the razor itself looked used. Came all scratched up. Was not impressed and I'm returning it.

This is a handsome product indeed. I used it the minute I received it and it worked just right for me. It may be a little on the small side for others, I'm assuming, but it's just right for me. At first, there was a slight metallic smell when I washed it before using for the first time. However, the smell was gone soon after. I'm pretty sure the smell will not return. Nevertheless, I truly like this product. The only thing I question is the brand name is missing. The picture shows Acrimax is lightly engraved on the outside. The product I received has nothing.
