Raccoon Ears and Tail Set - Fuzzy Headband and Tail with Hook and Loop Fastener

This is a cute set of raccoon ears and a tail for a good price. The ears are tall and fluffy (which I like) and can slide up and down the head band, so they can sit on top of the head or a little more to the sides depending on preference. The tail can attach to a belt loop with a little loop of its own. It is stuffed (with cotton?) so it's pretty round, firm and full. It's cute, I like it. Off the top of my head I think it is around 16" long. Couldn't ask for more for my Halloween costume!

These are really cute and well made. I needed them for a VBS costume, and the price was so comparable to supplies that I couldn't pass it up.Hint: If you want a racoon "body" get a long sleeved grey Tshirt, white fabric paint, and a man's comb. Draw lines of fabric paint and "comb" to look like hair. I spaced rows about 1 1/2-2" apart, and then went back and did a row in between. Looked really good!

This was such a cute costume. It's just the ears and the tail, but I received so many compliments when I wore it on Halloween. The tail Velcro's to a belt loop, so that was very handy. You can even space the ears out a bit if you'd like being as they're on a headband. I wore the costume twice and it has held up with no problems. Great price for a last minute costume.

The headband & ears were a bit awkwardly shaped... & I had to sew the extra flaps down some because it looked very silly otherwise. The tail was great.. & we made it work.. but, the ears could have been better made.

Tail was a little small but worked great for our group Halloween theme. The headband was comfortable even after wearing all day.

This is a good quality set of raccoon ears and tail. My four year old son needed the tail for his Halloween costume. He did not wear the headband so I can't judge on comfort. I like that the ears are on securely and stick up, but you could remove them from the headband and put them on another if the headband ever broke. The headband appears to be plastic underneath some soft black fabric. The tail is furry and large and has a loop with a Velcro closure to attach to a belt or pants loop. It is stuffed full of fiber fill . My son did not like the way it hit his bottom when he walked. I had to open a seem and take all of the fiber fill out and sew it back up. Then it was comfortable for him and still bushy enough to be great for his Halloween costume. It was much easier for me to remove the fiber fill from this one than to make one myself.

Daughter exclaimed, It's SOOOO FLUFFY! The fur on both tail and ears is very soft and silky. I think she actually took the tail to bed to cuddle with. She's 7, and the headband fits her fine... I've got an average size women's head, and the headband is comfortable for me, also. Nice that the headband itself is covered in black velvet, and DD liked being able to adjust the spacing on the ears. Tail has a black velvet loop with velcro, easy to wrap around a belt I suppose; we'll probably safety-pin it into place. Everything seems well made and sturdy. Ears would work well for a wolf costume, too.
