Oceansouth T-Top Extension

I would say one this cover is one of the best things I have bought for my boat. It is super easy to put it, probably takes about 5 minutes or less (the first time you have to get the ties right and figure it out), and it is a true life saver here in the Florida Keys. Now my family and I can be at the sandbar for hours and not get fried and miserable. It really is easy to put up, now the kids can do it themselves, and keeps the whole aft area of the boat under shade. I have not kept it on underway, so I cannot confirm that it stays on while the boat is moving but I would be willing to bet that under 8 or 10 mph if it is tied down well it probably would stay on. We are just using it when we are anchored or staying somewhere, but it works great. Hopefully it holds up for a long time. Definately recommend.

The day I order this, the seller had the items shipped. I don't mean they printed a shipping label. It was picked up by the carrier same day. I also live in the same state as this seller which I'm sure makes it quicker, but received the shade kit the next day. It is made well and is easy to setup. The SS poles seem well made and sturdy. Very happy with the T-Top shade kit and the quick expedite of the order.

The product seemed very well made and heavy duty. No doubt it's a great product. #QualityProduct 🛠️But the directions for measurements need major improvement. 📏❌ None of the standard sizes seemed to fit my boat. Not the seller's fault though. 🤷‍♂️I tried measuring using directions from another brand, but it didn't work out. 😕Also, the poles in the holders at the back leaned in, causing a sag in the middle. 😫With the right boat layout, this could be a great product. 👍🚤Unfortunately, I had to return mine. 😞 #BetterInstructionsNeeded

Seems good quality for the materials used. The directions are one page with not very good insight. Also, how to measure for your boat should be more straightforward with better directions. Mine arrived larger than listed so sending back for a smaller one since it sagged a lot. Overall, this is a high quality awning.

Worked out good for bow cushions sun shade. Originally quoted $3,000 by dealer or $1,000 by canvas installer.Need rod holders and Seasuckers. Extra $150.

No matter how much pressure I put on this thing it sags in the middle.

So I'm pretty happy with the quality of the poles and the fabric itself. I will have to have it modified since it is a bit longer than I needed for my boat but the company doesn't offer a custom order option. In fact, it is very likely that all of them would need customization based on the fact that very few boats will have the exact dimensions needed to make these fit perfectly. My biggest comment (and why I didn't give it 5 stars) is that the strap system used to hold these is really stupid and cumbersome. They should provide quick connect snap buckles so once you get this adjusted, all you have to do is simply snap it in place. As it is, you have to feed the straps through the buckle each time... really dumb. Also it would be much better if they added 2 more straps at the front to really hold it nicely at the back of the T-Top to prevent sagging.
