Canbthe Stinger spc5010 work for 12 volt

It works on 12 volt applications and can generate up to 18 volts if set to that with the power adjustment screw

Up to what size or gauge wire can the negative & positive terminals hold? I'm using 0 gauge?

I believe 0-4 gauge wire, I used 4 gauge and had a lot of extra room.

Do these stinger ones work well I have a raptor 10ferad now!want the 50 ferad!?

I have two of these with a dd M4 amp and they work fine. Voltage is much more stable with them than without

No, it means you need more Batteries or upgrade the alternator.

Good Product

Watch out for your remote wire. Mine was bad and I didn't know and ended up buying an extra one and didn't need it.

My stereo system finally works the way it should

So I’ll start several years back when I paid a local very reputable audio store to put in $6500 worth of amps, mids, highs and dead materialsin the doors and I found out they did not put a capacitor in and if I return the stereo up to past 85% it clips out, I asked them about it and I said you probably don’t have enough power in your truck to push all of the amps… so not knowing any better I went out and got two oversize batteries that didn’t do it so then I replaced my alternator with a 370 amp alternator. Still the mids and highs would clip out when I turn it up pretty decent….. so I just installed this 10 farad the systemNOW the system is so loud that there’s no way possible to turn it up all the way and stay in the truck….

LED Display and Charging Card did not function

I tried charging several times but LED never turned on. Charging Card light went out when it was supposed to be fully charged. Upon starting my vehicle the display reads 6/6.5v and emitted a constant droning beep sound. I can run it without the remote wire but the LED doesn't work and I'm not sure it's doing anything at all

Smart Alternator Fix?

Seems to help keep voltage flowing from variable voltage alternator. Issue with the mounting hardware, screws seem to big and the heads broke off 2 of them.

The best cap I've ever owned!

So, there's a lot of debate over whether or not caps work. In the past I've been extremely disappointed with the performance of most of the caps I've installed on my car audio systems. I'll tell u, this cap works better than any cap I've ever had. As long as it's wired properly, and your vehicle charging system isn't a piece of crap, this this is a great addition to your audio system. All of my amps were turning off above a certain volume, but now with this installed all power is stable and doesn't cut out at all. I'm 1000% satisfied.

Glad I bought this took me a Lil min to say f it and I'm glad I did my bass is pounding now harder thin it was before at a much Louder volume whit A study voltage reading on my 1200 watt Rockford Fosgate D class amp p3 12" subs thanks stinger for the product.
