DERNORD Stainless Steel Ball Valve - 3/8 Inch NPT Thread Male Small Mini Ball Valve (3/8" Male&Male)

I purchased this 3/8" male-male valve to build an offroad tire air-up/air-down manifold. I'm pleased with its quality. (The center hub is the  Interstate Pneumatics Brass Manifold .)Pros:- It's compact.- The ball valve handle is metal and is much smaller as compared to other styles.- The valve can be disassembled a bit if necessary. Each male threaded portion is installed with a 7mm hex wrench hole on the inside.- Like all ball valves I've seen, the interior guts are sealed with plastic washers.- It regulates air very discretely. I've had it up to 90 psi. No leaks & easy to control the amount of air flow I want.Cons:- None

There are not a lot of shutoff valves on the market with male/male ends! Used these for plumbing shutoffs into flexible connectors feeding an outbuilding sink and toilet. Happy with the performance.

This valve feels and looks like quality. I purchased this 3/8" valve to use on a hi-flo compressed air system. The hi-flo Milton V-style connectors that I am using have an open flow diameter of 0.27" and these 3/8" valves also have a diameter of 0.27", so they will work fine for my compressed air system.I tried this brands 1/4" valve a few days ago and it has a flow restriction in the valve of 0.21" and it leaked with only 150psi on it. (The information on the spec sheet/drawings for the 1/4" F-F valve is wrong.) This 3/8" M-M valve is not leaking after being under 150psi pressure for an hour. It seems like this valve will work nicely in my compressed air system. I am also trying a RUB 1/4" valve in my air system that has a flow diameter of 0.31"! Since I don't need the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, and with the nickle plated RUB valves at half of the price of these, I think I will go with the RUB valves to use with compressed air systems in the future.

Bought this for my RV hot water heater. It came with a Chinese one way check valve that didn’t work. Needed a very short ball valve to close for winterization that I didn’t have to cut water lines to install and it was perfect. Worked as it should.

Nice looking part. Valve is hard to open/close. I Ordered 1” valves, but inside the ball valve the opening is only 1/2”!. Definitely do not recommend.

I tapped into my refrigerator water line to fill my coffee maker quickly. I needed a reliable valve that does not start to stick after a few hundred uses. This is my third 1/4 NPT valve, my third manufacturer. This one is as smooth as silk, shuts off completely without hard twisting, and will, I am sure, offer years of use. The two other valves from other manufacturers failed after a couple of months-- became sticky, would not close fully, and led to an hour of water cleanup from a slow overflow. This valve works!

We used it for a water line to a dog grooming tub, worked excellent and a great price.

Awesome on/off valve for my house humidifier.

Excellent quality used it to make a counter pressure bottle filler for beer.
