They work
To see if these actually work, I laid seed down without walking over the area with these on. I then used these in an area and then laid seed down. The area I walked over, the grass is a lot thicker and grew a lot faster. The area I didn't use these shoes on, it seems as though the seeds just washed away. The grass that is there, isn't has thick. Not to mention, when I mow the lawn, it comes up from the root. I have now walked the area with these shoes and laid more seed down. The shoes fit with no issues and I wear a size 10.5-11. As for making my lawn look better, these really do work. Will definitely be using these shoes when I redo our garden area.

Amazing, durable, easy to use and walk in
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These aerator shoes are the perfect lawn maintenance tool to put to use, especially in the Spring and Fall. Got these to use in our yard on our patchy lawn, hoping aerating will bring improvement and help make it healthier. The shoes are amazing—and assembling was a breeze, using the tool provided to secure the long nail spikes to the shoes. The shoe is a durable, strong, molded plastic that you slide your own shoe right into, and the strap system is fully adjustable to secure the aerator shoe to fit any size boot or shoe. These work fantastic! The spike nails perforate and poke substantial holes in the lawn to break up any compacted soil, and to create openings to get air and water and nutrients to the grass roots. I also strapped these on to break up the soil in my flower garden before planting seeds and they really worked great! The aerator shoes are easy to walk in, and even easier to use!

Waste of time and money
Let’s be honest with ourselves, if we want to aerate the lawn, we need to rent an aerator. I’ve tried these shoe things, I bought a cheap aerator push thing, but there’s no substituting the performance of a motor driven heavy duty aerator machine. In regards to this product:It took about 40 minutes to assemble and fit them onto a shoe, and they were broken and in the trash 40 minutes later.

GARBAGE!!! Didn't Survive One Use!
The concept is great. The manufacturing is HORRIBLE!!! The sole of the sandal is made of SOFT thin plastic. The studs snap off with very little pressure. There are so many ways they could have made this product better, but as it is, it is ABSOLUTELY useless. Perhaps a metal sole plate would have been better. Perhaps a harder plastic would have been better. Perhaps a thicker plastic where the stud is attached would have been better.I walked across my lawn very gingerly, making sure to always step straight down and not apply any lateral pressure on the studs. Despite my best effort, most of the studs broke off. My lawn is only about 4,000 square feet (small lot), but I was still not able to complete the job with these.DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

Should work well but very hard to keep on shoes.
I like the idea of this product but as of yet I have not been able to walk more than 5 or 6 steps with out them coming off my shoes. I havent quit on them but its been so frustrating I have given up for a while. I have a steep terrace on my front lawn and am afraid I'll hurt myself with these especially with not being able to keep them on when trying to walk on flat portions of my lawn. If I can get them to work I'm sure they will be a big help in my lawn.

Spikes will break off
After I got these fitted and started walking around in my yard that just had a down poor of rain. I walked around the yard taking small steps to get as much coverage as possible. When I went to clean off the caked on mud and leaves I noticed that 2 of the spikes broke off on the back of my right foot. This was only after doing a small corner of my back yard. I continued and lost 2 more on the other foot. I finally stopped after 1.5 hrs (didn't get the yard finished)

Works well!
So far worked really well! The metal buckles feel sturdy. I have a 0.30 acre lot with clay soil. I have walked off about 3/4 of it with these shoes. You do have to walk a little slow &deliberately. I did it over a couple days. The quality of the shoes is good. I wear a wm 6.5 shoe. In my boots, I have to cross-cross the front two straps to keep my feet secure. A couple of times had to readjust the straps. Be careful not to step on extra strap length by tucking them in. I will continue to use this product.

Pins bent and broke off after first use - very flimsy
After the first use - about ten minutes - one of the pins completely broke off the base. And 2-3 more pins in both shoes were bent. The product is extremely flimsy. I spent more time trying to locate and retrieve the broken pin in my lawn to prevent my kid from stepping on it and getting hurt. I want a refund. It cost nearly twice as much as the cheaper green ones to purchase the GoPPas.
