Having read other reviews of this product I was expecting trouble installing the camera and the app via Wi-Fi. I had no issues at all I'm using a BT smart hub 2 and I didn't even need to go into the hub manager to change from 5ghz to 2.5ghz .After installing app and connecting camera to the app to make sure it worked I positioned the camera on the outside wall of my house with a good view of my front yard.I Done several tests of the pir detection system and settled for the medium mode(5 sec).The door bell looks very smart and the weather here has been very high winds and loads of rain and the door bell is still working perfectly.I'm able to share the doorbell via the app to my wife and sister in law who lives in the apartment above us so we all can answer the door bell. With out the need for 2 separate doorbell.Maybe a though for the next version would be a sd card for recording.All in all I'm very happy with this product

I have been totally disappointed with this product. It promised a lot, looked excellent value but has delivered nothing.Despite numerous attempts over several hours it refused to connect to my WiFi router despite finding the WiFi and having a strong signal. All my other WiFi devices including an Amazon Echo, Apple Mac and HP printer all connected seamlessly.I have returned the item and will look elsewhere for a Video doorbell that actually worksI have returned the item as it does not work

Brought this as it was the only one I could find that advertised an SD card function so you do not have to pay monthly HOWEVER upon installing it, it is now saying you have to pay for the subscription. Unless you are watching the live feed 24/7 you wouldn't know anyone was at the door.Unfortunately it was brought early for when we moved in and we were delayed so it is now out of the return window.Update: have now been using with the cloud service and regularly get notifications every 2 mins saying motion was detected, even when nothing is there. Thought it was clouds moving in the sky reflected in the cars on the drive, but it does this even when no cars there!Have given two stars as it isquick to send a notification through when the doorbell does get pressed...

Instructions a bit confusing but once worked out, works well. Also batteries didn’t come charged but now it’s working am pleased with it.

Price good and had purchased an Akaso action cam previously which has been very good value. The camera is soundly built and looks good, pictures perfectly adequate. However, I feel all its problems are related to the app, "tosee". When connecting following the instructions it persistently gave a message 'failed to connect'. Left it in disgust after half an hour and when I next picked up my phone it had connected. Not a good start. Sensitivity is set by time after PIR is triggered, high should mean it starts recording immediately. It doesn't, my drive is 10 metres long, it doesn't record anything before someone has reached the door. Medium means it records after 5 secs, this misses most people coming to the door. The delay to notify you of someone approaching is even longer, my family can come in and be sat down before a tone tells me someone is at the door. Haven't even bothered with low, which is 10 seconds. Alerts are also very hit and miss, picks up and tells me about cars driving past but doesn't tell me about the Amazon delivery person. Also, I haven't found any way to set a unique notification sound so I just get the standard android or IOS tone, which is very irritating being unable to distinguish when it is a doorbell alert. from any other system information. Neither does it alert me when the doorbell is activated, which should be the whole point of it. The camera works fine and the microphone is just as efficient. I happily managed to hold a conversation with my sone from 100 miles away over a 4g signal. I am sure all the problems stem from the app but without the app, the doorbell remains pretty ineffective. Will persevere.Addition 6-8-19 although it hints at long battery life I had to take it off the wall to recharge after 3 weeks. Three weeks later flat again and now won't recharge. Probably on it's way back.

This product is fantastic! It covers my entire drive and more, the motion detection works great and the night view is very good.The 2 way audio is spot on and very clear!Installation is very easy and setup in MINUTES, i wish I bought one ages ago.Its Just as good as the more expensive ones on the market, dont think about it just BUY ONE!! You wont regret it..

I disabled the 5GHz wifi as specified and then spent two days trying to get this thing to connect to my internetThe phone app is useless and the instructional video would not run, I downloaded a user manual from the web site hoping for some inspiration but that was as bad as the phone app so I really cant give a review about the doorbell or its interaction with Alexia as I never got off the starting line

I purchased this video Doorbell so that I can see who is at my door when I am not there but also see who is there before I answer it.It really easy to setup and looks very strong and sturdy. It’s simple to connect to my phone and tablet and has good range aswell.
