High Chair – Award Winning Svan Signet Complete High Chair with Removable Tray (Natural)

Impossible mission to keep your baby sitting on the chair! Doesn't works the straps! The plastic part is not easy to take out, always hurt my fingers! For the amount of money you can buy something better!! For sure!

I purchased this for my friend's baby. My friend said she loves it.

Pros: beautiful, relatively easy to clean, adjusts to child's age/size/mobility, relatively easy assemblyCons: no wheels, straps are all but useless, hard to get child in and out, poor craftsmanship on pre-drilled holes at base.This chair is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. It fits in well with our furniture and I'm sure that with an older child, the ability for the child to step up into the seat is fantastic. It was fairly easy to put together, and I really appreciated that all the small parts were encased in plastic and labeled so we didn't have to worry about finding pieces missing partway through.Unfortunately, for now, I have to say I was unimpressed overall. I wanted to love this chair but there were just too many negatives. The lack of wheels is annoying, the straps are practically useless and always slide down my baby's shoulders. The pre-drilled holes to install the bar at the base were crooked, so I ended up stripping one of the screws while putting this together and the rest ended up crooked. It seems stable regardless, but how hard would it be to drill the holes correctly?I think if these issues were corrected this could be a fantastic chair. Even with the problems, I still strongly prefer the aesthetic of this high chair to my Graco. But my husband can't stand all the negative aspects that make it hard to use daily. Great chair, fully adjustable and popular with our 1 yr old. Only issue is the natural finish is prone to staining (yogurt in particular).

I ordered 2 for my twins. The chair is very difficult to assemble and one of the support beams cracked during assembly. I ended up returning them and purchasing 2 Stokke Tripp Trapp chairs and I love them!

Awesome high chair! Looks great and it is very sturdy! My little girl loves it as well.

This is such a sweet little high chair. I'm so glad I got it. I'd registered for it in my Amazon Baby Registry but I wasn't counting on it. I was able to put this together in about 45 minutes (at 8.5 months pregnant, that's not too bad!). I love the completed, finished product but I took off a star because the assembly instructions are ATROCIOUS.They don't even include how to attach the tray in the "baby kit," which I have deduced consists of the between-the-legs guard, the tray, and the don't-fall-out-of-the-seat guard. I had to go online and figure it out.ATTENTION to prospective buyers: there are 4 larger "WOOD SCREWS" and 4 unlabeled smaller screws. **The "WOOD SCREWS" are larger** and are used to attach the legs to the base. The smaller screws are for attaching the plastic tray brackets to the tray. The smaller tray bracket screws are not spoken about at all (that I could find) in the instruction manual.Assembly:I got it home and began to assemble it and right off the bat I noticed it had been opened/used because the hardware was loose all over the box, & one of the "WOOD SCREWS" was stuck in a plastic bracket tray with a splinter of wood shooting out of it, which I immediately thought was suspicious. I went through the list of every item and nothing was missing, though, so I did not worry that it had been opened & messed with.I got the chair (minus the baby kit) assembled relatively quickly (for a woman 9 months pregnant) & as I turned the tray upside down to secure the plastic brackets, I realized that the person before me had completely ruined the tray by using the "WOOD SCREWS" instead of the smaller bracket screws. They split the tray wood and bore out the holes so it was beyond repair. BUMMER: I'd spent the last 45 minutes putting the thing together & was looking forward to seeing the finished product!Since this chair was purchased via someone else on my Baby Registry on Amazon, I wasn't sure what to do, but there is a yellow piece of paper included with the chair that says if you have any issues, to contact the company directly as opposed to contacting the retailer. By this time it was late at night so I emailed the provided address on the yellow sheet of paper, only to receive an automatic "this email is no longer in service" reply. So then I went directly to the Svan website and found a different customer service email address and sent the original email to that address. Then I went to bed. By the time I woke up the next morning, I'd received a reply from Svan: all they needed from me was to see my Baby Registry on Amazon, so I sent them the link, and they could see that it had been legitimately purchased and was legitimately for me. They sent me a new tray right away, which arrived via Fed Ex in exactly 1 week. I did not have to pay for the tray or for the shipping.Overall I'm quite pleased with the product I received and the company's customer service. I am disappointed that Amazon did not check this product for damages. Ridiculous. But thanks to the actual company, I'm a happy customer and would recommend this product.

This is a great high chair. This is our second one and our 4 year old is still using the first.
