The discreet on-off is nice - it means this can be a true backup lights as batteries can be left in indefinitely. Would be nice not have to cycle intensity. Good construction- 2015 model had better color (why only 4 stars) with only a few less lumens and slightly better spaced low intensity settings.

Lights up an entire house or street, wow, do not use the batteries that come with it, not why I purchased, but would have given a sixth star if they included 2 each 18650 decent Li ion batteries.
