Kirkpatrick Handrail Bracket Black (3491) - 3" - Black

I bought these to replace some 60's style chrome brackets that previous owners of my 1880's cottage had put in and paint splattered while decorating. I bought them to match the black vintage style handles I had previously put on my interior doors to bring back some much needed character to the house. I really love the teardrop shape of the brackets, they are so much more stylish than the typical round ones. The texture, colour and shape make them look authentically 'period' and suit my cottage well. The only reason I have not given 5*s is that the screw holes and the cast quality are both a little on the cheap side of rustic but once up, you don't notice. It would also be nice if black headed screws were provided with the brackets (no screws are provided).

What can you say about such things? They came earlier than predicted, packaged well.They look like the picture in the ad, nice gothic design. They are well-made and they do their job in a satisfactory manner. I know too that after a short time has elapsed I will never notice them again. Blimey, I've said loads.
