Allowed us to keep old TV
We used this in conjunction with the TV box and made our old TV work and update to a digital TV, as our old TV is sentimental belonging to our departed son,

Cannot handle resolution higher than 576p without constantly glitching.
Product does not function as claimed. Works fine on 576p resolution but go to 720 or 1080 and it glitches to such a degree that the image and audio are impossible to discern. I have tested with multiple devices and settings, same result every time.

Good converter
Converter works well used for HDMI output from dvd player to convert to composite video and stereo left and right audio output for analogue tv

It does work. Hooray
Working and it a good picture but it was only B/W whilst set to either Pal or NTSC, was just about to throw in the towel, set the monitor to auto and finally got colour.

Some flickering and B/W, add few quid and buy dongle style linkfor device
Lots of flickering and no color, ntsc pal switch was the cause despite what product description says about the tv’s settings. Was refunded and bought another linkfor device, the dongle looking one with svideo and rca attached. That one worked wonders with color and has around 5 different region settings

Did not covert HDMI audio from TV
Unfortunately this item was incompatible with my equipment. Instead I purchased a optical converter which has worked albeit with limited volume.
