This battery worked great in my Roomba Sage (4108) once I replaced defective U2 and U4 MOSFET's with TO-220 versions (also bought and reviewed on Amazon.) This defective part problem seems relatively common and will prevent the early Roombas from charging, even though it will show that it is via the light. After a couple charge cycles, I just ran my Roomba around the house for 70 minutes, hard floors and carpet, before the charge indicator went orange. I likely could have gotten 90 minutes out of it, but the house was as clean as it was going to get. Hopefully the longevity is there -- I would recommend not leaving the battery in the Roomba without the charger plugged in, as there is a constant current draw from the Roomba even when off and it will discharge the battery. Personally, I charge it fully then remove the battery until I need to run the machine, probably once per week.Update--a little tech data for the nerds: Voltage measured immediately after a full charge achieved (battery is very warm) 16.7 volts. Voltage after the battery has sat for a week (not in the vacuum on trickle charge, but removed after full charge/green light and just sitting on a shelf) 15.77 volts. Voltage after running the Roomba (starting with the battery at the aforementioned 15.77 volts) for 75 minutes, over mostly hard floors with some low pile carpeting--battery status light is orange but not red/dead--14.7 volts. A full charge from this point (14.7 volts) is around 2 hours. Note that I have the 'fast' gray 1.25 amp charger. There is a black 'normal speed' charger which does, I think, 0.6 amps. So charge time would be doubled, roughly. Added--last night I let it run until auto battery shutoff. I got 105 minutes at a final voltage of 13.6 volts. Full charge with the fast charger achieved in 2.5 hours. No issues...

This is a great battery! I have an older Roomba that still had its original OEM battery. The runtime for this battery was about 20-40 min depending on where/what/how it was being used. I ordered this replacement to get a little more runtime out of my little robotic friend. I let the battery charge (on the dock) for about a week before using it. Not because I was worried about the battery but because my Roomba needed a little maintenance and a few replacement parts. After I got the little sucker all cleaned up and ready to go, I set it loose to do its thing. I was not disappointed. After the initial charge it ran, on MAX clean, for about 70-80 min before it stopped. Almost double the previous battery. I’ve since run the MAX clean setting 3 more times with similar results. (Mostly to condition the battery) On the normal clean setting, the Roomba usually heads for home base around the 60 minute mark. Sometimes I get annoyed it runs for so long. Which is a wonderful “problem” to have.I’ve read that others have had some issues with their batteries. Well, that’s the game you have to play with batteries some times. I have RC cars, planes & helicopters along with battery operated lawn equipment and power tools. This problem has affected them all. Sometimes you just get a bad battery. Most of the reviews stated that after contacting the seller they received a replacement that worked great. I know that it sucks, but sometimes it just happens. Please don’t let that deter you from trying out this battery. Im glad that I didn’t.Above all else, keep the battery MAINTAINED! Batteries are fickle, fickle, beasts. Keep it charged, cycle the batter (use it till it’s depleted), fully charge it (don’t just trust the green light on the top of the Roomba, there is NO WAY that battery ran for an hour and charged in 30 min). If you are planning on not using the Roomba for an extended amount of time, de-charge the battery for storage. All these make the battery run longer and have a better life-span. And for goodness sake, CLEAN YOUR ROOMBA, those things get disgusting and stuff gets everywhere in them which can also reduce the life of the battery! I hope this helps anyone considering getting this battery!

Update 12/04/2017 - they (PWR+) saw I gave them a 1 star review. To their amazing credit, they sent me a new battery. I changed the rating to a four. Going to see what happens in the next 90 days. I really feel I just got a bad battery before, but time will tell. Great customer service guys, Great customer service indeed . 11/26/2017 - We have had this battery since February 2017. Solid per former until lately. Last 30 days or so, will not last longer than 30 minutes. Very disappointing considering the very positive ratings. But I may have just gotten a bad one? I have charged it direct and on the platform charger. Either way, same result. Way past the warranty period. Hope you purchase does better than ours. I would buy from these guys again though! : )

So far so good. This battery seems to be doing the job. My 400 series roomba is lasting about an hour on a full charge, which is good. I have ordered off brand batteries before for the roomba, and they don't seem to last. I read the reviews on this which were good overall, so I ordered it. Will see how many months I get out of this, and if it maintains the length of time that the roomba runs.I am writing an update to my review. Today is December 30, 2018 and I purchased this battery in November of 2016. It is just now showing signs of wear and slowing down in run time. I have had this battery for over two years, and use it several times every week for a full run cycle. I just ordered a new one for when this one finally dies. This is a great replacement battery for my old roomba.Update March 14, 2019; I am getting an hour and a half run time from the new battery that I purchased December 30, 2018. GREAT BATTERY

Well, it worked great for a little over a year and now it refuses to charge at all. My Roomba just blinks orange for any duration it's plugged in (13+hrs) and upon unplugging it the Roomba has zero power. Not sure what happened. After checking the Amazon storefront and seeing "24month exchange" I called customer service who informed me that was for Adapters, not batteries.Guess I won't be buying PWR+ to replace this one.
