Rago Women's Wide Band Thong Panty

I always read reviews and rely primarily on them in determining if I make the purchase. This product received positive reviews that's why I bought it however, I was disappointed with the fit. I am 5'0 and 115 pounds. I have some weight in my stomach I wanted to smooth and hide under dresses and tops. This product fit well on the bottom portion of my body however, did not fit well on my upper waist/stomach area. Since it only rose halfway up my stomach it caused me to have a "spill out" or "roll" near the top part of my stomach which, really defeated the whole purpose of wearing it. It also rolled down quite a bit which was annoying and could be seen through my clothing. I ended up returning it because its useless to keep a product you bought if it doesn't do what the intended purpose was for which was to smooth out my stomach.

I bought this because it is a thong and I needed something to wear with a pencil skirt. I have bought a couple of different shape wears from other brands before so I know how critical it is to measure yourself before buying since they all feel and fit differently. So as recommended in the product's page, I measured my hips and waist but when it arrived it didn't feel small nor big, it just felt weird, uncomfortable on certain areas. You can tell the fabric is of good quality, however; the band does not provide good support on the belly area at all. It is not sturdy like other shape wears in the market and it folds every time I sit down. I tried wearing it with pants as well and the same thing happened. The front "V" of the panties does not look anything like the stock photo as it does not cover a lot between your legs, so it almost gives you a wedgie in the front. This product needs a tighter band area and more crotch coverage in the front. If you are going to be standing up the whole time, it works but if you are sitting at any point (driving, dining) forget it... you will be going to the bathroom to fix yourself. FYI I'm 5'8 and weight 125lbs..I received size 26S according to my hip and waist measure

Love that this is a band and will not role. The thong part is light and not too grabby but it is a little long. I've had 3 kids and even though I'm not overweight it holds my mommy tummy and handles in perfectly. I'm 5'11" and often find that these things, when pulled up will protect the top of your belly and the bottom will be hanging out or vice versa but this one is long enough to cover all of that without going up to high. It's perfect for my high waisted pants and skirts, which I love! For reference, I fluctuate between 182lbs-186lbs and I bought the 2X ( I usually wear a large but I always get 2 sizes or more sizes up in these things to avoid a muffin role.)

AMAZING. fits better than expected. I'm 5'3, 137lbs, wide hips. I don't have a huge stomach but it's not perfectly flat, so I wanted to just try something to smooth out my tummy more under dresses and skirts. I bought the medium. This thing smooths out my lower tummy and doesn't role down or even move in the slightest. Extremely comfortable, as long as your ok wearing thongs. Totally invisible with no lines under clothes. I wanna buy like 3 more and maybe even try a small to see if it tucks in a little more . I would recommend this for everyone

I think this would have been more effective if I would have tried a size or two down. I did like it a bit for underneath jeans and what not but it just wasn't quite tight enough to do any kind of compression and then again if it would have I'm wondering if it would just cut off part of your stomach and then you'd have a weird lump.

Purchase your normal size so that it fits the way a shaper should. I still give it a 5 bc it's comfortable and didn't show under my clothes even illusioned under tight fitted dresses. The thong dosnt hurt either so that alone is a 5!

Overall, this product is OK. I'm 5'5" and 112 lbs. I just needed some help with my little pooch after having two kids. I wanted to wear this under a midi bodycon dress with cutouts on the sides. Well, it somewhat helped with the pooch, it did not flatten as much as I was hoping for, and I would have been OK with that if it didn't give me these weird love handles that I don't even have without it sticking out of the cutouts. This might work with a regular dress with no cutouts.

My wife loved these just went wild as I did when she wore them after five boys.. I hoe I can control myself or we will have 6.. they did what they said. but my wife looks good in a paper bag.. love love love them as she did,R.WiiliamsBergenfield

There is a decent sized lip where the control top meets the panty part and you will see it through your clothes depending on if you have any ruffles to disguise it

The material is so thick and it keeps on rolling down though it does flatten your belly which is the good part. The thong-I'd say it's too short and really tears you apart

If you have major love handles as I do you will have a muffin on top. For price it’s what you expect.

It did a good shaping job but fabric is thicker than expected.

Used it for my wedding. Very comfortable.
