Used on an outside pipe repair. Relatively easy to fit but would have been better with simple instructions that mentioned requirement of flux.

It might work if you have full access and the crucially the pipe hasn't been distorted by whatever made it leak (both unlikely). There is very little solder on the patches so not much chance of sealing the edges properly if its been distorted at all.

A great idea, drilled through a pipe and couldn't get a plumber in lockdown so have this a try in desperation. So easy to use, basically if you can solder you can do this. Created a permanent fix in a few minutes.

Can't believe how easy these are to use. Worked first time.

Sanded the pipe and put the click fix and flux on it. Used a blowtorch for 30 - 45 secs. Click fix came off with a tiny amount of finger pressure 2 minutes after cooling. Cost me £20 for the click fix + £40 for all the blow torch, flux ect. Waste of money and time. Should have just called a plumber out.

Bought it for a friend, who swears by it; initially out of frustration then full of praise for it. Make sure that the joint is dry and dirt/grease free, otherwise it won't secure to the pipe. A very good emergency repair patch, but I would imagine that it not intended as a permanent solution. For any numpties, NO it isn't for use on PLASTIC PIPE. I admire the person who designed it!
