When saturated do the pellets break down into sawdust? Can this be used as cat litter? Is this only pine pellet?

I'm looking for cat litter that doesn't get thrown out of the box by cat feet and tracked around on the floor by human feet. Will these pellets work?

This is pretty good for minimal tracking. However it helps to use a two-layer box. Simply Sift litter box is ideal. You put a handful in the bottom and a couple inches in the top box with the grates. Each day, scoop the poop with the breeze or feline pine litter scooper then shake the box or stir it with the scooper to get the sawdust from the wetted pellets to fall through the grates. Bear in mind this product might have irritants, even very toxic components. The manfuacturer has not replied to us when we asked about this. Several of our cats got sick after we switched to this product- eye, nose, mouth discharge. They are improving since we changed to another litter a few days ago.

Would these pellets work with the tidy cat breeze system? I'm looking for a replacement to tidy cats pellets as they don't last very long

I found the pellets specifically for cats ineffective. The pine pellet bedding which I call horse pellets, are very effective and much cheaper. I order the 40lb bag which lasts for 3-4 months. The pellets are a lot of work but it's healthier for the cat and cleaner for the home.

How do you scoop and clean when using for cat litter box? Most of the "sifting" litter boxes are sized too small for my older kitties. Thanks!

I found a video on YouTube on how to create your own sifting litter box cheaply. It's a nice large size. I ordered them from Walmart. Just look at the labels on the containers the woman uses.
