X10 XCam2 InstantON Tiny Wireless Color Video Camera

I owned 4 of these cameras for years and used them outside to monitor my pond activity so when I saw these on sale for 5.65 I jumped at buying another 8. I received them within 2 days and set them up. To my disappointment they do not work together. They work independently and have good color and resolution but when you put another camera on the same house code with a different unit code you can not switch between them. The only way I've been able to get them to work is by setting them up on different house codes then having to switch the transceiver back and forth which is pretty cumbersome. My older cameras each had antennas on them and these do not. I don't know if the camera is to blame or the increase in wireless traffic but since the switching should be working through the electricity since I'm not using a remote and my old ones switch ok I'm assuming it's the cameras.

Although this tiny camera was "used", it works like a charm, just as well as any new product should work. I had one like this years ago, and liked the simplicity of installing and operating it. I had misplaced it in a move, and have been trying to find another and had been unsuccessful until a few days ago, when I found this on Amazon. Great product, price, shipping and service. Thanks!

Older type of security system that doesn't require internet; does well for mhz quality and shows area as required. Need to be connected to VCR DVD or TV to review as real time.

This was a replacement for ten year old one, and it works just fine.

They last for years....great picture I still have one that I bought 11 years ago.

works well but caution if you have WIFI you may have to switch frequencies of one or the other
