4 stars because packing was pretty terrible, some adhesive on it was a bit messy as well. I luckily didn’t have major dings or dents , just a bunch of little ones along the bottom edge.I set the box on my table and heard a “clunk” sound. I proceeded to open the box to see this item covered with some bubble wrap on the top very sparingly. No protection on the bottom so the paper towel holder was only protected by the thickness of the shipping box itself. If the dings are too bad I’d replace it immediately.Other than the terrible packaging. The adhesive holding the info tag to the top of the holder is pretty messy. I had to use goo-gone to remove the leftover adhesive.So I guess two kinda negatives but cleaning the item is probably recommended anyways.I currently have a regular sized roll on it with about 75% left of the roll. Works great one handed so far. Just pull the amount you want and tear off at an angle.It’s not perfect so there’s a very slight wobble on the feet. These feet are padded so it doesn’t make any noise when using it. I have a wood table, so it shouldn’t scratch/scrape it based off the height.The clicking noise isn’t crazy loud but I do have several children always making noise. The sound seems more muffled, rather than a “spokes on a bike” kinda sound.Also if you keep pulling straight it doesn’t like lock or stop at a “proper” amount of paper towel rectangles. So I pull until I have desired amount then pull sharply at a downward angle. This way works for me every time and it hasn’t moved on me so far.I’m not sure what the rod on the edge is for but I’m guessing it’s a guide for mega rolls or something. I don’t and/or haven’t used it so far.The color is nice.Weight seems good.Fairly sturdy construction.Good tabletop or countertop paper towel holder.Overall I’m having a good experience so far. It’s much better than having a loose roll of paper towels sitting around.

Great, sturdy product

Very nice and practical

I searched quite a bit for a paper towel holder I could use on the counter in my newly renovated kitchen. I first tried another brand that had a spring arm touching the towel roll because it had good ratings and was a good brand. However, I found that it would not work with the large size rolls I use. The arm would spring out when I tried to insert the large roll, and provide no tension. I was concerned about the rolls that work by resisting turning because the tension will get larger as more towels are removed and the roll becomes smaller. However, this one provided to be a good design. The larger rolls fit easily. I find it easy to pull the towels out, with minor resistance as the base rotates and clicks against the stop. The tension lets me pull out towels smoothly, but is enough to tear off a sheet with one hand with a little practice. The tension does get a little bit greater right near the end of the roll. However, it has not been enough to cause me any concern.I recommend this for anyone who wants a good counter-top towel holder, and especially anyone who used the larger paper towel rolls. It is the only one I have seen that works well with the larger rolls.

What I like:Well built, this may be the last towel dispenser I have to buy.Holds the larger size paper towel rolls that all the manufacturers make now.Very sturdy, the bottom is heavy.It truly is one-hand use and works with the select-a-size sheets.The style is simple and clean.It's easy to wipe down for cleaning.I have always purchased for style more than function for towel dispensers but just couldn't take peeling off 1/3 of the roll to make it fit anymore. This is easy, functional, and built to last.I HIGHLY recommend this, let me know if this is helpful.

You should know:1. I haven’t really been able to use this with one hand2. It collects bits of paper and dust on the rubber standTherefore, I don’t think it was worth buying Instead of a basic paper towel holder.

Seriously works with 1 hand. Only time you need two hands is when it’s the end of the roll. Otherwise stays in perfect position with no issues! Must have.

Purchased 3. Had to return for replacement on 2 of them because it wouldn’t turn very easy. 2 works great! The 3rd is a tad tight on turning. Hoping it will loosen up a bit. Don’t let my review discourage you on purchasing. Just giving my honest opinion. I would definitely buy again though.

Bello esteticamente e almeno per il momento robusto. L'unico neo è il sistema che dovrebbe bloccare la rotazione per poi strappare il foglio in silicone; lo avrei fatto leggermente più lungo perché non ferma a sufficienza. Per il resto lo consiglio vivamente.

This would be a five star rating if the marketing wasn’t false. This is not a one-hand-tear. Maybe sometimes it works but most times it just throws the whole unit off balance. It’s a great design, works well two-handed, does the job and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Minus 1 star just for deceiving consumers into thinking this is a one-hand tear paper towel holder.

Gostei no geral, imponente, talvez pudesse ser mais suave um pouco no manuseio.

Love the way the base spins around on this paper towel holder, and it is so easy to tear off one sheet at a time with only one hand. It is fun to use (if a paper towel holder can be fun?!?) As you pull the paper towel sheet, you can feel ticker interacting with the ribs on the spinning base part, you can hear it, and you can see it. It is so easy to control how many sheets you want to tear.I keep it between my stove and sink for easy access when cooking or cleaning up. The base is large and fits Jumbo rolls (which I always use), and the base is heavy so it feels secure. There is a padded non slip bottom, so I have no worries about my counter or table top. Looks high end, and works great. Super easy to wipe clean. It shipped no problem and arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended.
