I have tried many protein powders and this ones flavor is by far the best out of them all. Unfortunately it did not sit right with me and gave me an upset stomach. It is a large container and comes with a scoop. It mixes well and isn’t chalky or gritty.

We use a fair bit of protein powder in our household, and have tried many different brands. Because protein powder seems to be like gasoline, and goes up and down with price all of the time, we often end up testing out different brands. And, different flavors.As a general statement, we often having protein powder totally by itself to augment post-workout. Every now and then, one of us makes a shake, normally a morning shake with frozen fruit and so forth, with protein powders.This is a great protein product, and I have no complaints whatsoever about its performance, its taste, or it's mixability. I would say that there is no real thickening aspect to this powder, as the liquidity stays essentially narrowly changed when using a shaker bottle and water, for example. Other protein powders I have used tend to have quite a bit of a thickening reaction to water or milk. So, there's really no thickening aspect to this powder and if you want to have it thicken up a little bit you'll have to do that a different way. Not a big deal for me, but if you were expecting to have more of a "shake"or something a little thicker to drink, you won't.But, the flavor is very good and it is very easy to mix. So, no complaints there, a great overall protein powder.

I do resistance circuit training about five or six times a week. After my training, I always like to take myself a nice protein shake, to help in recovery and muscle synthesis. This whey protein from Repp Sports, is probably one of the best tasting protein supplements I have ever tried. Now, I wouldn't say that flavor of protein is my number one criteria when it comes to how I choose which to buy, but I will say that when it tastes good, it's such a nice relief. As far as the quality of this protein goes, I'm very impressed. I find that it is comprised of very good ingredients, and offers me what it is that I require for my nutritional needs. I will say that I think it is a little bit high in cholesterol, and perhaps that is something that could be lessened to a degree. I keep my protein shakes very simple, with a few ice cubes in water crushed up in a Ninja blender. I rely entirely on the protein powder itself to provide the flavor, and don't mix it with anything that might help, like almond milk or what have you. Like I had said before, this one is so delicious. I've had some pretty nasty proteins in the past, and some that you have to sort of pinch your nose and gulp down. This one is not like that at all. As a matter of fact, I find myself looking forward to having my post workout protein shake. All in all, I found it to be very good for my recovery, and has helped me with my training, to provide me my nutritional needs for muscle regeneration, and muscle building. I don't think you'd be disappointed with this one, and so from my experience, I highly recommend it.

This review of this Whey + prtoien shake mix is coming from just a simple person trying to help their lean muscle growth/weightloss in combination with cardio(eliptical) and resistence band and heavy bag training. Prior to starting the use of this Whey+ shake mix, I had already been working óut and eating a balanced diet that was yeilding very good results but was hoping to build better muscle definition. I kept running into the recommendation of adding a whey powder into the mix so after reading reviews on so many lines, I chose Repp, their whey + vannilla waffle cone mix to be exact. So many people enjoyed the taste and said that it wasn't gritty or chalky, which is what sold me on it. I make myself a 8oz glass only after workouts ( 5 days a weeks 1hr 45minute each session), either using milk 2% or water. I may add yogurt or fruits or both and each shake never disappoints. I love the flavoring, and everyone was right, it is not gritty or chalky at all. Lunch for me on workout days, is this shake and I am good until dinner time. No starving feeling two hours later. My stamina during workouts have increased so this is very encouraging to me. I have seen that a lot of people find it to be super sweet or even to sweet and yes it is but I'm ok with it and I have not felt that the sugar content has affected my diet at all in a negative way. I think that if your on the fence on trying a whey protein product in effort to assist in your workout/diet regiment, this line by Repp would be a wise choice. Don't let the outer packaging scare you either, as much as it seems to be packaged to entice mega weight lifters, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the benefits that this Whey + protein shake mix provides.

Simply put, Repp Sports Whey+ is a delicious protein powder. Even if it didn't have 3 kinds of quality, easily-digestible whey protein that absorbs at different rates, I would drink this for the yummy Vanilla Waffle Cone flavor and light but smooth texture. I can't say that about most protein supplement powders.Whey+ does have some sugar and is a touch sweet, so it feels more like an indulgence than something that is good for you. And it does indeed help maintain and increase my lean muscle mass and aid with my recovery after workouts. It mixes easily in water and is great tasting that way, but also works well in smoothies. I've never experienced any stomach discomfort from taking it. The 4lb. tub is big, but it should last a while and is a good value because of it.
