Rechargeable and easy to use
So, getting older sucks. Suddenly, I found this light dusting of hair in my upper lip and I just hated it so much. But I was also afraid of hair removal devices because of sensitive skin, so I've hesitated to sirens much money on things like this. Before this one, I bought 2 other cheap epilators. They both ended up requiring batteries, which weren't included. Neither included instructions. And once didn't work at all, I've I got the batteries in. So I figured I'd invest slightly more and try one more time. This epilator impressed me! It came packaged professionally and included a storage pouch so I wouldn't have to keep storing it in a bulky box. It is rechargeable, and even includes an adapter. (rechargeable devices seem to leave it adapters most of the time now, and I'm pretty tired of shuffling the 2 I have between devices, always trying to figure out where I left them). You do have to be careful not to overcharge it, according to instructions, but it is pretty easy for me to remember to unplug it, since I leave it in sight in the bathroom to charge. So on to the hair pulling... Errr epilating. I'm just kidding 😉; while I expected this to be really painful and slightly complicated, it turned out to be really easy, very quick, and just felt like quick little static shocks. The instructions that came with it were clear and concise, so I didn't have to puzzle over the right way to use it, and they gave some hints on how to use this as painlessly as possible. I will s say it again: I REALLY appreciate that the company included those.I feel better about myself when I look in the mirror. I think I look younger. My husband told me he could never see those hairs, but I could, and they were making me crazy. So really, this was about self confidence for me. If you're in the same boat, this is a great product for the price, and the company seems to be well run.

Horrible product! Don’t waste your money. I will be returning.
I’m surprised by all the positive reviews of this product. I couldn’t stand the hair/skin pulling after one minute of use. Some reviewers stated “the pulling pain will go away” and “you’ll get used to the pulling” but I can’t subject myself to more pulling and skin irritation. Yes I read the instructions and yes I held the device at a 90 degree angle and yes I stretched my skin, etc, etc. And to me this device is loud. I tried my husband’s Norelco beard trimmer on a small leg area and I gotta say that his beard trimmer is so much less painful and quieter and didn’t irritate my skin and comes with several attachments. Granted it didn’t leave my skin feeling smooth as silk and I realize a man’s beard hair is much coarser but I’m strongly considering buying a man’s beard trimmer for myself. It’s that or going back to tweezers and plucking and shaving.

It pulls your hair out!
Obviously by the headline: it does what it's supposed to. I bought it for my underarms since I'll be wearing strapless dresses for a few weddings and I've never been satisfied with how shaving makes them look. I can't stand missed spots, nicks, stubble, and dark follicles under the skin you can still see. This takes care of that problem for me! I just tried it so we'll see how long the hair stays away, but for a day, it works perfectly. This hurt at first and I could only do a couple spots. As I went back a few minutes later and then again, the pain was not as bad. Maybe because it wasn't pulling out so many hairs at once by then. Some spots I had to go over a few times for it to pick up the hair, but lighting and a good mirror will do the trick. It does have a light on it, but I find it doesn't always shine on the best spot. The size is good for storing, and also being able to maneuver the smaller parts of the pits or wherever you're trying to get rid of hair.

So far so good. As represented.
Update: It did not do a very thorough job. The sparse tweezers may make it more comfortable, but I was left with stubble and the next morning, I repeated it before I could go anywhere. Also, the hair seems to be growing back much sooner, with shadow the next day. It was not painful, I could feel some of the hairs being pulled out, but mostly a vibration, and not sure I was holding it at the best angle, because it didn't seem to be pulling out many hairs. Some stubble was left on my face. So, I will know better tomorrow whether those hairs are long enough to show. It was not painful on my face. The brand I got before seems not to get good reviews any more. I will keep it but have to shave my face after using it Good thing I am single and do not have to snuggle with stubble on my face.

Wash your face like it says to: First Time epilator
I read a review about how when they used it they got zits, and that's what happened to me too. It was just nipping at my skin it felt like rather than pulling hairs too. But I really needed to wash the area before, at the least. This is my first epilator, and I like it. I'm not a pro at it, and haven't built up the internal gumption to move beyond the area of my chin and a bit of my mustache area. The battery seems to last longer than it says, but I use it not for a full 30 minutes. I'm going to keep using it, and get used to it. It's somewhat amusing that the epilator will try and pull longer hairs and I can feel when the revolution around is longer while it tries to pull longer hairs. It's really not meant to. I wouldn't get rid of the tweezers and razors yet, or possibly at all. But, I am no pro. Glad I bought it none the less. It can feel almost as smooth as a razor.

Next day no stubble :)
Oh my goodness. As a Black woman I can't explain how grateful I am to finally find a tool that actually works to remove these thick, annoying chin hairs that have started to turn grey. I've tried creams. Worse breakout ever. I've even tried both electric shavers and facial razors. Stubble within a few hours and left with the dark shadow. But now I can't stop touching my face. It's sooo soft and no stubble at all and it's the next day. Now it did hurt like a mofo at first but I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. At first I didn't think that it worked. It was so much pain and I did not see any hairs being removed. But I looked in the hair trap and saw that it was in fact grabbing the hairs and that's why it hurt so much. It just took several passes over my chin and took about ten minutes because I had let the hair grow out for a few days. I'm so pleased.

Not as satisfactory going by the preview.
The product is not as efficient on removing short hairs as I thought it would be.

I’m definitely disappointed
The epilator arrived quickly which was good.I’m was easy to use but very noisy. It did grab long hairs ok but the smaller random hairs it didn’t pick up better off using tweezers. Not good on large areas either. It doesn’t seem to have a lot of power and do what I was hoping so I feel like this product was a waste of my money.

Great tool for facial hair removal
I like this product because it's very easy to use. Instead of plucking I can simply run this across my face and it removes any excess facial hair that I don't want easily.

Works Like a Charm!
I am kicking myself in the rear for not ordering one of these years ago. It pulls out very short hair very effectively. It is much less painful than tweezing one hair at a time. At least a half a dozen of my friends are now going to order one!
