It works! So Far
It's been about 2 months and I know that doesn't seem like a long time but I read about some 3rd party lamps that are bought online that don't even last that long. But I'll report back here with an update on how long it does last.

Meh, it's Okay. Lasts about a year.
Ok, about to buy another one. This will be my third one......for me, they last right at about 1 year and 1 month. The price has steadily been falling the last few years. The first time I bought it, they were around $174. Now they are $70. Considering a comparable new tv would be about 2K right now, I will suck up another one because we really love our TV.

Probably worked great
Never got to utilize it but it looked well made and came packaged carefully. Stopped using the projector I had so never had a chance to install.

Had good luck in 2009. Not so much in 2011.
I've had mixed success with this replacement bulb.I purchased my Toshiba 56HM66 December 2006. The original bulb blew September 2009 (NFL kickoff week no less). I can live with almost 3 years bulb life. I purchased a new bulb direct from electrified.com for $125 plus $11.09 shipping. That was a fair price at the time. That bulb blew August 29, 2011. I turned to Amazon and found the same bulb filled by electrified.com for $84.73 plus $11.97 shipping. At the time electrified.com was filling the order for less cost via Amazon than direct on their site. Just barely 1 month later on October 5, 2011, this bulb blew out. Electrified issued me a RMA and will ship a replacement since I'm within the few month warranty. The only down side is they'll ship the replacement after they receive the blown bulb, which I guess is only fair.I'll try again and update this review after a few months. However, I would like to point out those purchasing the Toshiba original bulbs do not appear to be complaining about performance...just double the price.

Beware of what seems to be a limited lifespan based on my experience
I bought two of these because of the price - it's a good thing I did the first one has lasted from February 2015 only until October 2015.
