I made a big pot, and it served two people for five dinners! Made it with broth instead of water. Turns out perfectly, and a great way to add variety to meals, without needing refrigerator or freezer. Just keep it around--anywhere. Use it whenever--will store a long time, and requires just water and heat to be edible.I can imagine a lot of great add-ons to the rice, such as dried cranberries soaked in water. etc., etc. A lot of possibilities.

This brand of wild rice blend is by far the best that I have eaten. I will keep on buying and making it for dinner since my entire household loves the flavor. I cook it in vegetable or chicken broth and make a pilaf by adding one or two vegetables (diced carrots, shaved brussel sprouts, chopped celery or diced pumpkin) and season it with spices (chopped fresh onion and garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper).

This rice is great but the price has doubled during the pandemic.

Hearty and delicious

Okay so I use a rice cup for my rice measures and followed their ridiculous instructions. 1 cup of their crappy rice ,1 3/4 cups of water simmered for 45 minutes end result: a burnt pot and undercooked rice. I've been cooking rice for awhile now and any rice that takes this long to make (45 m+) thst ends up being undercooked in the end is not worth my time.

Best product and quality ever!Buy this wild rice by the box.Easy to make in the instapot, keeps in the frig all week.Great grain for any diet!!
