I did tons of research before buying this tent as I had previously purchased a 2 man tent that weighed too much for an expedition.Pro's:Easy to pitch up, low profile design yet large enough for 1 man and his gear. The raised entrance is great as you can sit up in the tent and shelter from the elements and the front porch is perfect for cooking in poor conditions.All-weather. This tent feels as though its design for cold weather, so its perfect for the UK climate and wild-camping trips.Repair kit and durable pegs are included with the packIt's lightweight so excellent for hiking.My favourite element of the design is the black inner lining. I wanted a cosy feel when chilling in the tent and the darker interior feels perfect.Cons:Really too small to be considered as a 2 person tent unless you are happy to be intimate and leave your gear in the porch. But its perfect for 1 person + gear.Thin groundsheet. I am sure it has been designed to be durable, but it does feel a bit thin, so I would recommend buying an appropriate footprint groundsheet to extend the life of the tent.

Excellent seller, came speedy fast. Happy with product. Set the tent up and very stury and looking forward to getting out after lockdown.

Typical Snugpak equipment, really up to the job. can be a bit stuffy with 2 people inside. I have this permanently in the top box of my motorbike along with a softie 9 bag.I would definitely practice erecting it before heading out though. It's easy when you know how.

Perfect, only thing is that the floor inside the tent is quite thin, I had to get an external ground sheet.

I bought mine a while back and it is a fantastic tent, very well made and very waterproof, my only problem with it is that it is too small, I'm 6ft2 and my feet were pushing the mesh at the foot end right up against the outer skin and my head was touching the mesh at the entrance, wished I knew this before I purchased it, I ended up buying another tent that is a lot longer and more comfortable, I suggest if your 6 foot or over not to buy this tent, I would say to snugpak to make them longer and you might just sell more of them.

I was given a Snugpak Scorpion 2 tent during lockdown as a gift. I thought I would test it today but one of the grey tipped (straight) poles at a join, I have no receipt because it was gift. I’ve contacted Snugpak customer care and they will help. Looking at replacement poles at a cost of £90.00 . Which seems excessive for one small cracked part. Which equates to a third of the value of the tent for small pole section. As anyone attempted a repair? If so what does one use?As mine was purchased by my late Father In Law as a gift , I do not have a receipt. So Snugpak will not help me. Anybody got a current receipt?
