if you're the type who values all that a warm scarf can provide in a wilderness survival or just in an outdoors activity capacity this is an excellent choice. very soft (silky looking) and warm, large enough to perform many tasks. going into the wilderness, really should have this with you. when you first get the item, clean your dryer filter and put the scarf in on "air fluff" for ten minutes. then clean the filter again and run it for another ten minutes. one more time if you need to. this will get rid of most of the shedding that might otherwise be off-putting. i'll probably get another scarf to match my winter white,maybe more autumnal.
