I have got this product on Amazon Great Indian Sale at 4400 rs. It's a best deal. Red color looks lovely.From the past 5 years i am using WD 1 TB HDD.Compared to WD, Segate is best HDD.Transfer speed also excellent in Segate compared to WD. Transferred 8 GB files in 6 mins.Little bit heating it's quiet common, no need to worry about it.It's come up with exFAT file system. It won't work on Smart TV's. If you have convert exFAT to NTFS then it's working.I am connected it with my Vu 55inch 4K UHD Premium Android TV. Initially I was connect HDD with exFAT file system. After changing to NTFS file system it's working excellent.Kudos to Amazon fastest delivery within a day and Kudos to Appario Retail Private Ltd.

This is the best external hard drive that money can buy you. Format this to NTFS for PC use and you're good to go. It's giving me average writing speeds of 100+MBps. It's surprising how an external hdd is capable of such speeds. There's no other product better than this in the market rn. I've been using Seagate and only Segate for awhile now. I had a 4TB Hdd, which I bought 5 years ago, and it still is top notch. The material is plastic however, and therfore light, but it still seems sturdy. The old backup plus had a metallic cover. Even if this feels flimsy it's quite sturdy and feels good on hands. If you're looking for one, this is a blind's guide. I'm very satisfied with the product, and very prompt delivery by Amazon.

Guys this red one is the 2TB Seagate external hard disc I bought during the recent Amazon sale 2019I got it for 4800/- approx which I found is a fair dealTo my surprise it was delivered within 2 days. I was amazed to find the item ordered on Saturday got delivered on Monday.The item is good with 1.8TB storageData transfer Speed 6-12mb per secondItem feels premium with a good white cover and white data cableBy the way this is my second hard disc. Not because the first one was very good but crashed when I dropped it just onceI bought the black one during 2016 paying 6900/- and after just one year it fell and crashed so this time I was sceptical to go for same Seagate product.I know I need to be very careful with the handling... Lets start with the feel, its super premium!! The colour, the material and touch and feel of it. Slimmer, slicker and more awesome with more speed than the Western Digital 2tb i have.Write speed of file transfer gives around 115mbps for a single chunk of file while 85-105mbps for many pic and small video files connected to a USB 3.0.All Mylio and Adobe CC things will be installed from a setup file provided in the hdd. Easy peasy!Just a crazy addition. Connected to my LG smart tv as well which asked for a reformat as it understands only NTFS partition. Free usable space is 1.81 tb.Super Thumbs up!

Bought this product on 27th Jan for rs 5000unable to install the seagatetoolkit,exe on my computer as my system was running old windows 7 ultimate iissue shown was connectivity issue but my internet was running fineSpoke to customer support and they informed that this runs fine on windows 10 onwards.I had to copy my partitioned drives and paste them into the Backup plus.anyway good buy it will always be helpful if you have a andy backup and helps you a lot to store pictures and videos when you are travelling.

so easy to set up. this unit has more functions than I need the moment , I just use it to store 4k video files also large photo collection. it is so quick to access these from the drivers though they are on the computer main drive.

Good quality product and transfer rates are ok but loaded with manufacturers stuff on the disk. Would buy again but they really need to tidy up the pre installed software it’s just not organised at all well

I use a lot of music and videos so this is perfect for the job., No hassle just a quick drag from one drive to this and job done

I have a number f these for external file storage. Although it comes with a backup program already installed I reformat and use for my existing backup system.
