good grip and easy access to mag and bolt release on my Ruger MkIII
The headline says it all except that the color is like the illustration, it is somewhat muted which is ok with me. Fit well and look good.

excellent grips
These grips work great so far for my new Mark III target model. Definitely has the bling factor. It functions fine and matches the stainless. I have to admit I purchased it for looks more than function. Everything fits perfect. You can always switch back and forth.

Check your fit!
My original grips broke near the screw.Pros:- Color/Looks are excellent, (the pictures are accurate).-The grip texture is somewhat aggressive and feels nice.- All controls are functional. (If you have a tight safety, it seems to be a bit more recessed.)`- Overall for a standard grip looks very nice feels better than original.Cons:- The functional fit. As you may or may not know the mark iii has internal pins/parts held in place by the grip. Fully tightened the grip leaves a small gap on the top side where the hammer pin is captured by a small grip cutout. I re-installed several times to try to fix this with no luck. This allows the hammer pin to walk out slightly. It is slight enough that I don't think it will be a functional issue, but you can press the hammer pin in and see it seat properly. Barely noticeable cosmetically. Bottom line I have worked on the mark iii quite a bit and the hammer pin is not held in place with the same tolerances of the original grip on my mark iii.

I love the materials!
These Hogue grips are my favorite. The shapes are always nice an slim, and the material is firm but comfortable at the same time. The checkering is deliberate, and feels good in the hand. I am slowly replacing all of the plastic grip panels on all my handguns with this stuff!

As long as you like the color
They are Hogue G10 grips, what else is there to say? As long as you like the color, you can't go wrong. Best feeling, looking, and functioning grips on the market. There is a Hogue set on every pistol I own. Oh, and their customer service is second to none!
