The Megger DETEX analog phasing tester detects phase to phase AC voltage on grounded or ungrounded high-voltage electrical systems. The unit is used to test high-voltage fuses, check for correct phase connections, and to test for the absence of voltage on de-energized lines. The 89mm (3.5”) analog display clearly indicates the presence of nominal voltage. The unit includes two poles connected by a flexible insulated cable to compare the phases of two contact points. The Megger DETEX analog phasing tester is used by electricians and electrical contractors. Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The company, founded in 1889, is headquartered in Dover, England, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards.
