Used for something other then intended purpose
Got this because it is thick. Now all my items, on my handlebars are more secure. For instance... My headlight holder, cell phone holder, headlight switch, horn, horn switch and the extra eight inch in length handlebar attachment (recently purchase to open up space on my handlebars)...are more secure. This tape is great for using in replacement of items needing to be secured to handlebars that typically use a piece or two of rubber to hold the item to the handlebars when screwed down over the rubber. This tape is thick has a little sticky tape under the center of it to aid holding it on the handlebar better than a piece of rubber.

I love this grip tape
Bought this tape because i bought new bars and needed to re-tape them. This stuff has an awesome texture/feel. Seems pretty durable. Easy to apply. Very strong. I used a lot of force to keep a tight wrap on the bar and was not concerned at all about ripping the tape. Tape has some spongey thickness to it to add cushion, but not too much.I had to adjust the position of the finishing tape and it seemed to stop sticking after that, so i had to finish the finishing tape with some electrical tape lol. Also, The overall length of each roll was marginal using the 50% overlap technique. You might want to be careful if you have longer bars to make the most of the length of the tape if you want more coverage..You can see the bright orange stuff is getting dirty over time but actually it's possible to clean up with soap & water due to the resilient finish of the tape. Seems almost waterproof. Great stuff.

Great product that is almost perfect. really a 4.75 out of 5.
Overall this is a great Bar tape. it has just about everything I look for in bar tape. I just put this on my wife's bike and she loves it. Tacky grip with lots of cushion and the Gel backing is just awesome. The diamond pattern adds nicely to the look and feel. I think this will hold up better then most synthetic cork tape to which I will give an update later about.I only have 1 issue with it which in the end may be a strength. The tape does not stretch which I am sure is related to the what seems like a super durable surface. If you do any kind of double wrap or Gel bar pads to be used underneath then you will be super glad for the extra 10cm compared to other brands. Which I was because wife's bars have the gel pads.Would buy again or recommend sure. If Margue started including the small snipets like some brands do so a none figure 8 wrap style can be done this would be my go to wrap hands down. So that last star is for the stretch and extra pieces which really should be a fractional star since the tape is longer then normal.

Great grip
This bar tape seems exactly like a name brand diamond grip tape (guessing it's the OEM). It's difficult to work with because it doesn't stretch much at all, but looks great once you get it right and provides the best grip of any tape I've tried in all conditions. Great if you don't like wearing gloves. I used it on my cross bike to replace lizard skin that was disintegrating and making a mess. I still love SRAM tape for it's economical price and for looking great even after years of riding. See how well this tape holds up.

Lizard Skin is MUCH better. Waste of money
Replaced my Lizard Skin bar tape that's been on for a few years. It was terribly worn, but was still better than the Marque tape.Pro: easy to installCons:already pealing up on the first ridedoes not absorb road vibrations wellinsufficient density of padding to support fatigue of long ridesno instructions, but found a YouTube video that was easy to follow

Grippy, comfy, and looks cool
Ive been a user of old cork tapes for years. I tried this tape and it feels so good. I like the grippy-ness of it, and the padding is very comfy. Its not too thick, but definitely not thin. Its thicker than cork tapes. The length of the tape is nice, as i cut about a 2" section off to cover the brake hood areas, which still left enough tape to cover my old school cinelli 44cm bars. Its not very stretchy and has an adhesive down the center of the tape. The challenge i had with the tape is wrapping around the brake hoods. Maybe i just need a lesson on how to do this efficiently, but i can never get it without about 10 tries. It took some doing, and with the 2" piece covering the rear facing part of the bar where the brake lever attached, it looks good. The tape provided to finish off the bar tape was nice; easy, stretchy, flexible and adequate in length to cover the bar. Its way better than my old standby of using electrical tape to finish of bar tape. I would definitely recommend to friends to get this tape. The black "carbon" pattern is a nice touch and looks cool too.

Sturdy and Grippy. Good cushion.
Handlebar tape is a very personal thing. It depends on whether you like to wear gloves or ride barehand, how you grip the bars, what kind of roads you're riding on, etc. All I can say is that these tape match the quality of bar tapes costing twice as much and the tactile feel is just right for how I like my bar tape. Adhesive on the back of the tape works well and allows for one or two tries without leaving excessive residue. Wrapping the handlebar is a skilled tasks and will certainly affect the "performance" of the tape if there is such a thing. Poorly wrapped job can come loose and that's certainly not the fault of the tape manufacturer.

Decent for price, very cushy
Decent tape for the price. Thick with plenty of cushion. End caps aren't too bad, they installed just fine for me. Be sure to leave some extra tape off of the ends of your bars so you can fold it in. The finishing tape that came with the pack isn't that adhesive so I just used electrical tape. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, didn't pay top dollar and I bet I get at least 6-10months out of it (daily use).
