Not worth it, it's junk... Don't buy it.
GPS works ok, sometimes a few seconds delay and can miss a turn by 40 feet or more. Can't listen to music or use other features during GPS mode. Radio broadcast feature goes into sleep mode after a few minutes. Free traffic updates don't really work.Update 12/2011 - purchased map upgrades from the company but ended up a nightmare. Several support calls and emails later, I got the upgrades installed. Now it's worse than before. A majority of the time I'll put in a city or zip and it won't allow me to choose any letters for the street address, just all grayed out. Also, doesn't show even well established addresses, couldn't find the location for a post office that's been open since the early 70's. Stopped short by 100 ft claiming no higher address numbers were available. Also got me very lost in Missouri by looping me around the same road while directing me to a phantom road.I regret my purchase and planning on replacing soon.

The best value of GPS
This ASUS R700T has great 4.3" wide screen LCD and it is very bright and easy to see. I can store lots of music, photo in the 1G internal memory. The main point i purchaes this GPS becaseu ASUS R700T Provide life time free TMC. Yes, i don't need to pay any penny. TMC help to get real time traffic information. I did lots of homework before i get this GPS and i found TMC service need to pay 7USD per month or $70USD per year. How much you need to pay life time service?... I have tried the TMC in southern California and it is easy to setup and use.Map is ready to use from out of box. 3D building is very cool.I'm highly recommed this for the people who is looking for high quality and easy use GPS

Takes too long...
I actually have been using my mother-in-law's GPS (this device) for a few months now. What a royal PITA (Pain in the....)This is not a GPS device. This is a MULTIMEDIA touch screen device with GPS as an option. The good: - The maps are decent. - You can load music, videos, and photos onto an SD card and view and listen to them through the GPS. - You can sync your mobile devices with it through bluetooth. The bad: - When the GPS turns on, you have to wait for a full 2 minutes for the processor to load the main menu. - From the main menu you can select Navigation, which is the entire point of a GPS in the first place. Then you wait another 3-5 minutes for it to load the GPS Menu. - After it loads the GPS menu, you can choose map or search. After clicking MAP, it fixes and locks the center of the map on a point random to wherever it was when last turned off. After extensive searching through the on-board settings and reading the manual, I finally figured out you must touch the bottom center of the screen to activate 4 buttons which all look identical. If you press the far right one, it deactivates the map-lock and allows the device to follow your yellow arrow as you drive. This happens whether you have set a destination or not. - There is no way to set the ASUS GPS to go directly into GPS mode when turned on. You must take the 5-10 minute time period waiting for it to go through its various loading screens and then deactivate the map lock before you can actually use this as a GPS! - Battery life is at most 4 hours when not plugged in. - There are two different power buttons, both of which have to be in the "ON" position for it to actually turn on. - Unlike most GPS devices, this one allows you to PRESET the scale of the map and you must press three different buttons to access the zoom controls. So when you are in a tight area and need to zoom in to see the street names, you have to slow down and press multiple buttons to do anything with the navigation.

DO NOT BUY!
I have had my Asus for a couple of years. Asus does not offer any support for this item and they do not update the maps. This GPS is a total POS.
