OLD BAYSeasoning-2.62 Ounces - 3 Bottles

First experienced Old Bay at a tavern down South where I ordered a steamer pot with clams and oysters, and mussels along with potatoes and corn on the cob. WOW! I was hooked on the sauce and couldn't stop dipping my bread into it. I asked the waitress what was the spice in there and she told me that it was Old Bay, commonly used there in the South.It was not available in my supermarket, so I ordered it online. Now, I use it frequently at home, on any kind of fish or poultry. All you need is to sprinkle it on, add S & P, a little lemon, and you are done preparing. Tastes great whether you steam cook, bake, or grill. Now it's a staple in my spice cabinet.

I use Old Bay a lot, but I just don't like the square tin container, because after a while the lid never closed properly and was starting to pop off, leaving the spice exposed to air and who knows what else. I much prefer this shaker jar style container that is more or less the same size as my other McCormick spices. These jars fit nicely in my spice rack. You get three jars so I'm happy with the quantity/price. The spice was fresh and good quality.

I have been using Old Bay for a long time, and I like to buy it in fairly small containers, so it stays nice and fresh (I don't live in crab country any more). It's still a favorite.

I put this in my Bloody Mary. I spice up lots of food with this. Mac n Cheese, eggs...

Flavor that is much different than most. Goes great with seafood or crab cakes

Old Bay...this is what you need for your low country dish. been months and my grocery did have any. did they not know my crawfish dish was calling out...lol. really just glad it could find it.

The Old Bay was a very good value for the money.
