I am SO happy with this product. I have purchased many over the course of the last 4 years. I got an allergic reaction to most eyeliner I was using/trying, but I've always trusted Neutrogena for hypoallergenic needs. This eyeliner didn't disappoint. It screws up for easy application. No sharpening required. It applies smooth as well as light or heavy, depending on your preference.

Applies so easy, love the formula, love the brightening affect, it is an awesome black that is not harsh yet not too light & not like a carbon grey, it's still black but more natural. I have somewhat oily eyelids so u do have to wear some eyeshadow so it won't transfer up onto my very hooded lids. I love the effect it gives & how it subtly softens as the day goes on but not in a wearing off kind of way. I can keep the line more crisp or blur it out with the soft silicon smudger. I usually blur it out & then apply over that another line that I do not blur. Does not hurt or irritate my eyes, I have sensitive eyes with issues so that's saying a lot! Under the smudger there is a sharpener- works great! Overall i love this eyeliner. Also HIGHLY recommend the shade spiced chocolate, looks so good with cosmic black on upper lid & spiced chocolate on lower smudged out.

Easy application

I recently switched to this eyeliner after dealing with several bouts of blepharitis. I originally thought that my mascara was causing the issue, but after trying several hypoallergenic mascara brands without resolve, I decided to try changing up my eyeliner and the blepharitis finally cleared up. I had previously been using L'Oreal's Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner for probably close to 10 years (it's my absolute favorite eyeliner) and was devastated to have to switch brands.I wear eyeliner everyday and wanted a hypoallergenic alternative that was affordable, could be purchased at the drugstore, and was comparable to my beloved L'Oreal liner. After researching various drugstore brands, the only two options I could really find were this Neutrogena liner and Physician's Formula Eye Definer Automatic Eye Pencil. I tried both brands, and neither of them caused any irritation. However, the Physician's Formula liner wears off very quickly (within about 2-3hrs), which left me with this Neutrogena liner as my best option. This one stays on relatively well compared to my old L'Oreal liner, and I typically don't notice any fading/wearing off until the end of the day (6-8+hrs after application).While this Neutrogena eyeliner isn't an exact alternative to my favorite L'Oreal liner, it is certainly a close second and does not bother or irritate my eyes whatsoever (which is what was most important for me). I will say that the Neutrogena liner does apply just as easily and smoothly as the L'Oreal liner, and it also has a nice, solid color when applied (I could never really get the Physician's Formula eyeliner to have a bold black color - it always looked more like a dark grey).If you are looking for a great hypoallergenic, non-irritating eyeliner, I would highly recommend trying this Neutrogena product.

I've been using this eyeliner pencil for my eyebrows in the spiced chocolate color since high school. It has never let me down (except for when I run out and it's impossible to find in stores!) It seems like Neutrogena has stopped stocking this item as much in places like Target or Walgreens (at least where I live) so I've been getting it here. Product is exactly the same, and lasts me about 2-3 months each at least. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful, soft, yet solid eyeliner. As you age you skin loses elasticity, putting on eyeliner can leave skips in the liner. This product doesn't. It goes on well, and doesn't wear or "humidity" off. Lasted all day in 90+ degrees, no smudges, and the best part, washes off.Smokey eyes are made simple with the soft tip smudge tool.Includes both the soft tip and a sharpener. I am not sure if the sharpener will be needed if you turn the pencil as you use. Possibly no waste. The liner is not embedded in wood, it is a plastic cover and it turns to add more. That is why I believe that the liner can be kept as a soft line w/o using the sharpener.Very happy with it so far!

I have very sensitive eyes and have been using an eyeliner that works for me, but wanted to try something new. I wore this for two days and the skin around my eyes started peeling. Not their fault, I’m probably just allergic to something in it. Back to my search for a backup eyeliner!

My favorite eyeliner! I dont care what other's say. I originally used this eyeliner but walked into Sephora for a change. Biggest regret, I am going to stick to my Neutrogena eyeliner!Why I like it: The color! Nice, smooth and black. There are no parabens of any kind. They advertise it as nourishing and I choose to believe this is true. The color stays put, no panda eyes!! It's cheap. When I splash water on my face, the eyeliner still stays put, despite not advertising it as water proof or resistant.I recently purchased several eyeliners to see if I'm missing out on something new. Tried: Water Resistant Eyeliner by Jane (it's not water resistant, at all, and it bleeds on your face almost immediately after application. I like the glitter in the one i bought, so i dabble it on anyways :) Sephora waterproof eyeliner. I look like a panda within 5 seconds of putting it on and it costs more than the drugstore stuff, definite rip off. Covergirl Ink it- it just really sucks.... The tip is bad, it doesnt go on easily, and it smudges.
