Wholly Gochujang, Gluten-Free Artisanal Korean Hot Pepper Paste (38.8 Ounce)

This is the best Gochuchang I have ever had. And we have tried many, because we make bim bam bap (hot stone pot) at home regularly. It is a little pricey, but I promise you will not be disappointed. And it is spicy enough you actually use less, so it's balances out the cost. Truly best one the market, so much so I plan to gift a jar to the owner of our favorite Sushi restaurant. Because I know she doesn't have time to make her own, authentic Gochuchang. :-)

I picked this up during my wife's gluten-free kick to try to be supportive. This product definitely tastes different than expected. It's not bad, but it's not good either. We're at the last few scoops now, so it did its job well enough, but I'm glad my wife is swinging back toward gluten tolerance so we can go back to the normal flavors again. Of course, there are plenty of reviews that say this stuff is way better than normal gochujang, so it's all up to the tongue of the beholder!

This is very tasty. It’s hot without being unusable or something you have use a eye dropper and rubber gloves with. Soups and oatmeal and pasta are what I’ve used it for. And chicken. I can’t say anything about if it’s authentic tasting or not, but it’s great. I like it so much I bought the company! Kidding, but I will get the bigger size next time...this is going to be one of my “must have” items.

Have not found another gochujang that is made authentically. All others have corn syrup, wheat or gluten. This is made w/ brown rice. Tastes great too. Just enough spiciness, but not too little, not too much. Perfect!

Excellent product. Being GF is important for us as well as not having any artificial ingredients or preservatives.

Having grown up eating nothing but Korean food, I can say that this is a great gochujang. Even my picky mom with discerning taste agreed!

Very spicy! People think I'm crying when I eat this but, I love it.

Amazing taste! It's totally different from just plain gochujang, one of 'must-have' ingredient for Korean food. I can mix this with the steamed rice and vegetables. No need to add other spices like garlic, sugar, honey, sesame oil, etc. Only this gochujang, you can get perfect 'bibimbop', the best Korean dish. I already ordered bigger size. The company should have off-line stores too. I'll go and visit there wherever it is located. Absolutely amazing!
