ILIA Beauty Tinted Women's Lipstick, Arabian Knights (Berry), 0.14 Ounce

I have used this lipstick for 2 weeks now, love it! love it! love it!. My skin color is Medium to Tan. I have researched for several hours after being frustrated by lipsticks which made my lips dry and ugly. People recommended lip color Arabian Knights(berry) for woman with light skin color, I thought " lets try it! whats the harm". Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner is sheer, build-able color that leaves lips feeler softer after each use. Usually my lips go dry 3hrs after lipstick application but with Ilia, My lips are never dry. Now about the color- if you do not apply second time(which i never do! ha!) my lips go from plum to light rose color. Am I impressed! Ilia, I am in love with your Tinted lipstick. Please note that i have paid full price for this item and this is #NotAd.Price($15.84) offered in Amazon is much less than price in ILIA($26) and Sephora($26). Just checked my order, this product is sold by "International Smart Home", not sure if this is ILIA distributor. Off late, I am checking the sold by for every order.P.S: Almost felt that I should not write about this lipstick, Keep it to myself( Be selfish).

I really love this color. I was worried it was going to be way too dark (I’ve got a light skin tone and don’t like the vampy colors on my skin tone). It goes on much lighter than the stick color.It does condition your lips very well. I live in dry climate and have naturally dry everything, so I really like the conditioning aspect to this lipstick.The color is pretty buildable. It starts off really light, but you can layer it to make the color much deeper.The one thing that I don’t like is that it’s really transferable. I know that the company never claims the lipstick is long lasting at all, but I don’t want to have to buy multiples to put everywhere whenever I am wearing this color to retouch the lipstick.

being a lip conditioner, I expected it to be very smooth or slick, I was disappointed it wasn't. It sort of dragged applying. It lasted longer on the lips though. The color was tricky, the color looks like it should be a purple or plum like a blackberry on the bush. But it was more red. After applying it did seem to moisturize, so I liked that.

This has a spicy flavor hint which i find intriguing. Goes on smooth and you feel the moisture, but i was expecting a darker berry red. This is more of a ruby. With a name like arabian nights, i was hoping for a berry plum. It's not an over powering ruby with one or two swipes and you don't need a lot to get the moisture. The color doesn't stain or last that long. It's just a little pricey on the regular though. I tried this one for half price. Happy i did, it is one of the cleanest lippies you will find, being smoother than others that are pricier. So you decide.

This is way more red/berry than I expected; however, it is beautiful despite the fact I was expecting it to be more of a plum/berry color due to the image shown. I love the sheerness of it as I am always looking for something to wear on my lips that is not an actual lipstick (which is usually too much color for me). I prefer just a bit of color; and this is absolutely perfect for day to day wear. It has no strong odor and feels pretty nice on my lips. I had been trying to replace my favorite Jane Iredale lip sheer that was discontinued; and even though it is not the same color at all; I am extremely pleased with this product! This has become my every day "go to" when I want a little pop of color on my lips.
