Genisoy Soy Crisps, Zesty Barbeque, 3.85-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

I like the product, having bought it at a local store in the past. Unfortunately package after package in my 12 pack was made up of over half the product in powder form. It got to be a running joke in our household, to the point where I weighed the dust from 2 of the packages. Over 2 oz. of these bags were Soy Crisp powder. I don't think it was a problem of shipping since the box wasn't dented at all and none of the bags had blown open.I ended up using the dust on a salad. The crisps themselves rock - I just wonder if Gensoy has some issues in quality control.

The every day Amazon case price is about the same as the sale price. I've been eating these for years and they are a very good source of protein. Soy protein is about the best you can get. LOw fat and carbs.In 17 crisps you get 120 calories (25 from fat), 17g total carbs, 2g dietary fiber and 7g of protein. ZERO Trans fat, 0 Saturated fat and 270mg of sodium.Much better than steak in my opinin. After all, you'll never hear of "Mad Soy Bean" desease!

These used to be my favorite. Unfortunately the manufacturer has changed the way they make the crisp. It is no longer puffy and thick but more like over baked cardboard...and who wants to eat cardboard?

Great snack. The taste is very good been eating them for the past six months. My entire family loves them. I would recommend them if you like rice cakes , you will love these!!

This is a good product. Nutrition is not as good as nutrisystem soy chips, but is comparable. Less protein and higher calories.

I just love the Soy Crisp! Once the bag is opened it is gone in a few days!

I'm a fan of GeniSoy soy crisps -- they are a great nut-free protein snack and have a great crunch to satisfy me and keep me away from potato chips.But, GeniSoy redid the flavor on these a few years ago and I find the BBQ flavor a bit too bold now -- the BBQ flavor has a hint of sweetness that can be too much at times. And, at the bottom of the bag, there will be standing flavor bits that make fishing out the broken pieces a bit too much.But, when the store runs out of my favorite flavor, Deep Sea Salt, I do buy these or the ranch variety.
