Expensive look at a Great Value
We searched for months on every furniture site that we could find for the perfect recliner. A lot of furniture companies manufacture furniture and other companies will brand their name. No matter where I looked, I only found furniture companies that are known for making solid furniture (Lazboy and Southern Motion higher end recliners) that sold a recliner with the similar style as this recliner. So after a long search we decided on this recliner. The stock photo showing the chair looks more true gray than what the recliner actually looks like in person. Depending on the lighting, the chair looks like a dark steel gray or dark steel blue. I attached a photo that I think comes as close to the color that I could get although it has more of a gray look if the flash isn't directly on it.The chair is heavy, of good quality and was easy to assemble.Although great quality, we had an issue with the track that slides the arm into place to lock it onto the body of the chair. The company was very quick to respond and resolve the issue. If it had not been for this flaw which doesn't take away from the overall quality, this is an excellent recliner at an outstanding price and if it weren't for that track issue, I would have rated this a 5 star.

The most uncomfortable recliner ever.
I have had a pair of these recliners for 3 months now. I am a normal weight 5'8" tall female with no health problems. When I sit in this chair longer than 30 minutes at a time, it starts making my tailbone hurt badly. I shift a lot in the chair trying to relieve pressure, but that seems to put pressure on my lower back. When I sit all the way back in the chair (not reclined), my feet rest on the floor, but it pushes on my legs behind my knee (like the seat depth is too long for my legs)....it's uncomfortable and I get the tailbone discomfort. When I recline, I get the tailbone pain and the lower back pressure. Also when reclined, it's very difficult for the chair to remain reclined. The chair needs to be a foot or more away from the wall, then you have to push yourself all the way up with your arms to get into the reclining position to where it stays down -- it's such a pain, I never fully recline in this chair....I just put up the foot rest.To close the foot rest takes a great deal of effort. I have to kind of hop and push in really fast with my heels-- even then, sometimes it takes a couple tries before I get it closed. It took me several weeks to figure out a way to close the foot rest (no, I'm not slow...it's just that difficult). The color of the chair on my Toshiba laptop is accurate to the color I received. It is a blue-ish gray, but not a bright color at all. Because it's not leather, I had to get gray covers for them (bought on Amazon). The gray covers makes the recliner material look dingy and dirty -- these chairs look bad when placed next to a true dark gray or a true light gray. When I replace the covers, I'm getting a cream color...something that will compliment and not make the fabric look sickly. I was sick of dark brown leather and didn't want black, so that was a primary reason I went with this recliner....I wanted a lighter color.Super easy assembly -- slide the back on and done.I do love the looks of the small scale of the chair -- I wanted a pair of recliners that look like accent chairs, and these are as close as I could get within my budget. I could have bought MUCH more comfortable recliners locally for the same price I paid for these, but none of them were small scale.....they were big, puffed out, ugly, and not suitable for a minimal, modern style. Also, I wish I did not buy swivel chairs. At the time, I thought these were going in a central location in the room, but they ended up against the wall. These chairs are an inexpensive update until I replace all of the furniture in my living room in about 3 years. I can live with them until then. My 6' tall thin male friend is okay with the recliner, but he says it's not nearly as comfy as his (he has a blown-up behemoth version of a recliner). He can close this recliner and it doesn't cause him pain, but he's not in it very long at a time. The extreme firmness of this chair is okay for a little while, but starts feeling like a board after some time. If you can find something more comfortable that fits your style aesthetic, that would be the way to go.
