I bought this for my friend because she wanted one like mine but it wasn't the quality I had thought it would be, arrived on time but the towel was very nice but the material was very thin and she didn't them like it.I suggest getting the AquaDry PVA Drying towel if your looking for more absorption and tougher longer lasting quality. I use my AquaDry PVA towel as my bath towel and I have no more issues with regular cotton towels I'm just great I dry myself off and I'm done occasional washing is recommended but you just put it back in the storage case and it's simple no more towels to wash. I hope this review most helpful in any way to anyone I do recommend getting the AQUADRY PVA towel.

I lap swim 3 times a week and used to take an old bath towel which went right into the laundry and took up lots of room in my swim gear bag. This dries me off just fine, takes up way less room, and I simply rinse in clear water and hang to dry at home and only launder every other week. It's large enough to wear as a turban around wet hair. It's not wide enough to wrap around female full torso for modesty. Tip: I waited till I ordered something else and would have to pay shipping, then added this item to qualify for free shipping so I got it for about half price. If you are looking to buy a Speedo swim gear bag this type of towel might allow you to get by with the smaller bag.

I purchased two of these for a raft trip in the Grand Canyon. They are as described; soft, light weight, compact and very efficient at drying off wet bodies, hands and hair. Size is as described. The only negative comment is they take a long time to dry themselves. The material is highly absorbant but seems to retain the moisture more so than other materials.This trip was damp with a lot of monsoonal rain so drying conditions were not optimal. Sometimes the towel, notdrying overnight, had to go into the wet storage area of the camp bags. No problems, no odor or mold, just wet to damp towels at the next camp. I will keep these and try under drier conditions. I like them, other than the length of time to dry out.

This towel is SUPER absorbent. Dries very fast and wrings out easily, too. It is a lot better than towels we have owned in the past that were more of a chamois material and would start to stink. This towel is more of a suede like fabric as opposed to having a rubbery chamois feel. This towel doesn't stink and it is washable. I only wish it were larger, but I guess there are other towels you can buy that are. But for a child, this is perfect to put in with their swim gear, whether going to the pool or swim practice. It isn't big enough to wrap around a waist or put around your head to dry your hair, but it does an excellent job at what it is made to do - dry you off fast!

I bought this towel for my daughter. Size was a bit small from what I was expecting but the quality is superb. Very absorbent and it does what is described in the product description. The texture is not so smooth when rubbed on the skin but I don't mind it. One important thing to remember is the blue color on the fabric bleeds and can stain any surface it touches on the first use - so be careful using it for the first time. It take at least 3 washes to completely wash off any excess coloring from the towel.

Good towel to have on hand when you need to dry off in the great outdoors. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't really feel like a real towel and it doesn't dry as fast as I thought it might. So it's not for somebody who expects it to magically feel like a normal terry towel and to dry out in an unreasonably short amount of time. What it does do is pack well and that's a big bonus. However if you are planning to dry your whole body - especially if you have long hair - you may want to go with the bigger size.

Use this every day after the shower at the gym. Just the right size (You're not going to wrap it around your waist, so it's purely useful for drying off). It doesn't slide well on the skin, so you have to pat yourself off with it. It really absorbs a ton of water, so it will dry you off just fine after a shower. Because it absorbs water so well, it takes a LONG time to dry out - think 16 hours or so in room temperature air. It ships with a nice - reusable plastic container with lid, and not a clamshell plastic crap container. If a company is going to ship it something in plastic, they might as well ship it in something that can be reused, so thumbs up for that.

I purchased this for a backpacking trip through Europe. I was very satisfied with the investment. The towel dries from head to foot. It dries out quickly, and it's super light weight. Pretty much everything it claims. It *did* absorb some smell after awhile, which others claimed it hadn't. But then, it lived in a backpack and went without washing for weeks on end, and probably got put away damp more than once. So, understandable, really. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this towel, and I will always travel with it.

My sister really loves this present which it was a gift for her from me at Christmas - very useful.

I've had this for a few years and it's great. It's a little small when you're wet but great for backpacking since it's small!
