Received product and immediately put it to use to try to eliminate fruit flies. This product has been plugged in and powered on for three weeks and has killed very few fruit flies. I would call it ineffective. It does emit a lovely blue light. I would not recommend this as a pest control product.

Update: No longer works. Only had for a week. Returning!I needed a bug zapper in my ground floor basement bathroom. It's right next to the back door and would attack lots of flys and worst of all mosquitoes. This is small enough to not take up too much room in my little half bath. I held in my hand for size comparison.

This has worked great since first being plugged in. We live in the woods and I have dogs that go in and our all day. Even with screens I still seem to get mosquitoes in the house. I plugged this in walked away, I do clean it frequently though. I have no longer harassed at night when watching tv my the ones that go it. It is easy to clean and then plug right back in. Very pleased with this purchase.

My potted ginger plant was a breeding ground for tiny flying insects and often they made it into the kitchen or food. But after a couple of days of having placed it right next to the pot, I could see many dead tiny insects on the grill. And I'm not bothered anymore.

This bug zapper really works to draw in the mosquitos with the light and zap them to oblivion! You just plug it in to the outlet inside or outside your house. It’s small and unobtrusive yet effective. Finally we can sleep at night without some random mosquito buzzing around our heads!

So i didn't expect a whole lot from this device but was very surprised once it was up and running. The first night didn't see any signs it was working, but by night 3 this zapper had started filling up with the bodies of the annoying flying bugs. It's not going to keep bugs away if you have a big area, but if you have a few indoor pests you want zapped this is definitely the product for you.

I like that I don’t have to worry about small bugs like fruit flies in my kitchen anymore. I plugged this in beside my back door and it attracts and kills those pesky bugs as they come in. Happy with my purchase.

This purchase was a waste of money. It doesn’t do as prescribed. Doesn’t draw in any nats, mosquitoes or flies. I suppose it cleans well but didn’t have to. It killed nothing.
