It does what you expect it to do. Dries your hair in no time.

The only good thing about this dryer is the color. It is heavy and doesn't dry quickly like the description says. Well, maybe if you use high speed and high temp., but that destroys my fine hair. I absolutely hated this. Except for the color. I use a big round brush to straighten my hair, and have to put the dryer down between portions (if only I had a third hand!). I have a close-up mirror attached to my wall with an "accordion" pull out arm, and used to put my old Conair dryer in between the sections. This dryer is so heavy, it fell off so I had to set it on the counter and the vibrations would make it move around too much. My old Conair had three speeds and three temps. I miss that medium speed. Although, to be fair, I couldn't find a dryer anywhere that still has that third speed.

I love it! I got this really thin and frizzy hair but it has the low heat that I need. It's also very light.

I have had this dryer for almost 4 years and have never had a problem. It has 2 speed settings - low and high - and three heat settings - cool, warm, and hot - as well as a cold shot! The settings all distinctly work and work very well. I would call this a nearly professional hair dryer, and I'm a hairdresser! I love this dryer. Make sure to use your concentrator nozzle to get the most power out of any dryer.

Unfortunately mine caught fire

The air temperature isn't hot unless you have the blower set to high. However, the high setting is WAY too much. It's like a hurricane. Also, the hurricane-force winds to not come straight out of the machine. They're strongest to the side of the blower. Maybe mine is just a bad apple, but I will not be buying this model again.
