Thank you Amazon for your quick delivery. Once I had opened the paper amazon envelope inside was a plain white damaged box, it was not well packaged. I am surprised at the poor quality of this item and aiso That it has the Blagdon name on it. I tried 3 tubes in it and none worked ( you can see a feint blue light in the dark when they are working) anyway I returned it the day after receiving it.

Replacement for identical unit I had been using for over 10 yrs. item worked perfectly for 9 months before packing up

Shocked to find wire loose, connection spinning, and bulb kept falling out
After waiting for green water to clear, looked at bulb, no light. Fitted another bulb, kept coming loose. Then after 2 weeks, someone looked at it for me and discovered that the live wire was loose in the ballast, the nut or screw was just spinning around. They had to re-connect the live wire securely, and adjust the clips that hold the bulbs. Not something i would have noticed, you assume electrical goods are checked before they sold. Bad for Blagdon, been using their products for years
