After a couple of months of lockdown, we were all getting bored and I thought it was about time I got myself a drone to play with. However, I didn't want to go too full-on and wanted to start with a beginners one to get used to flying one without destroying an expensive bit of kit. I saw a lot of colourful ones aimed at kids, but I wanted a black one, so this hit that spot. I loved the tiny size and the design, and thought it worth a go for c.£40. It took me a while to get used to the controls and I flew it into a few walls and dropped it down behind various bits of furniture while I practised. The frame around the drone protects the propellers and I've not yet managed to damage it, even with my regular crashes. Both the remote control unit - and the app - work well and the drone responds instantly. The picture from the on-board camera is really good - see my pictures - and lives up to the promise of an HD picture. Now, I just need to master flipping it flight as that's eluded me so far. Great fun!

I bought this for my 6 year old son and he loves it. It's a sturdy little drone and has survived his practicing. There are spare propellers included but it comes with a safety cage that helps to protect it from impact.The auto take off and hovering made it easier for him to master the drone and he's now mastered it.Has the novelty of attaching your smart phone to the controller and using it to fly the drone remotely and recording images.Overall great drone for the money.

I bought this for my son's main Christmas present, I was disappointed that after a a few flights that two propellers and the propeller guard were broken from fairly light landings. Initially was not able to find anywhere on the web where I could buy replacement parts, which left me disappointed, and why I initially gae it a poor review. However, since then I received good service from a company representative offered help with replacement parts and I have now got access to the parts page on amazon.

Great fun if one wants to learn to fly a proper drone. Sadly the battery's life never seems last more than 5 minutes, but at the moment it doesn't really matter as I can't keep it airborne for that length of time. Very robust as I crash it at least a hundred times a day. It helps to while away time during lockdown.

Massive disappointment, clearly not for children. Ours flew in the opposite direction and harmed our son. When trying to return it I was told I’d have to pay to return it to China or perhaps I could take a 50% refund and my husband could play with it! Totally missed the point that it physically harmed my son! In the end Amazon stepped up, handled everything as it should have been handled in the first place. Would give it zero stars if that was possible!

Really nice drone, a lot smaller than I thought but perfect for my nephew. We took it out yesterday( when it finally stopped raining) and it was nippy, quick to turn and simple to use. The battery life is what it says on the box but it doesn’t take to long to fully charge. The cage seems to make it more robust in case of crashes which I am sure there will be plenty of.

I have a few mini drones in my collection that I normally pay around £15 - £25. Paying twice as much and from the product images I thought it would be a bit bigger. It's the delicate blade guard makes it look bigger. I can't take off the guard as it's needed to protect the drone for when it randomly goes crazy and loses connection with the controller.The camera quality is like a camera from the 90s,The drone is never going to be stable enough to get any good video footage. The advert says it comes with 2 batteries but this wasn't the case for me. 7 minutes of flying time then takes another hour to charge, but you cant charge straight away as you need to let it cool down (say this in user guide)

This looks very good and is lightweight.To attach the battery and phone holder was very easy. Comes with a screw to secure the battery compartment or the phone holder. My iPhone 6S Plus fits perfectly and there’s an app I can use from the App Store.This is fun to control and the buttons on the remote are responsive.Although I am a novice at piloting a drone this remained intact even though I crashed it several times.Comes with spare propellers and a screwdriver for the screw.

Playing with Dorne is very nice experience for me so I liked it

Akku ist nach 4 Minuten leer. Im windstillen Wohnzimmer fliegt die Drohne unkontrolliert hoch und runter. Draussen bei Windstille das selbe. Bleibt nie ruhig in der Luft stehen egal was man macht. Die Rückholtaste sorgt dafür dass die Drohne ca. 50 Meter weit in den nächsten Garten flog, beinahe auf das Dach des dreistöckigen Hauses. Was für ein Mist. Die Erprobung der Kamera war somit garnicht möglich. Geht zurück. So ein Ärgernis da als Weihnachtsgeschenk gedacht. Nie wieder

Ich hab diese Drohne gestern erhalten und mit Vorfreude in Betrieb genommen.Die Einrichtung hat gut geklappt. Kleiner Tipp: Erst die Drohne einschalten/anstöpseln, dann die Fernbedienung. Bei meinem Exemplar funktionierte es nur so und nicht wie es in der englischsprachigen Anleitung steht.Was mir leider gar nicht gefällt, ist das extrem unruhige Verhalten der Mini-Drohne, sie bleibt leider nicht in der Luft stehen, sondern ist - trotz Trimmung - permanent in weitstreuender Bewegung, mal nach links/rechts abdriftend, mal nach oben.Dies macht sie für den vorgesehenen Einsatz, nämlich FPV-Skills zu Hause wetterunabhängig zu verbessern, völlig ungeeignet, da sie immer wieder in verschiedene Richtungen unkontrolliert abdriftet und ständig die Gefahr einer Kollision besteht.Ich weiß nicht, ob mein Exemplar möglicherweise defekt ist (vielleicht der Sensor für die Höhenmessung?), so wie die Drohne sich verhält, macht es jedoch keinen Spaß und ich werde sie wieder einpacken und zurück schicken. Schade 😦

Für das Geld kann man wirklich nichts sagen. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen ist natürlich nicht wirklich super und die Flugzeit eher im Bereich 4-5 min aber wer einfach mal ein bisschen Spaß für kleines Geld haben will, für den ist das genau das Richtige. Aufnahmen vom eigenen Haus sind gelungen, keine Posterqualität, aber das reicht!
