Nerf Big Bad Bow

Bought this for my kid... Did not want to - but he wanted it so much.When he first used it I realized I was really happy I got this thing for him. Mainly because I can dodge out of the way (most times) when he shoots it at me.I can not express the fun of adding this to our "NERF battles" to do it justice.The sound it makes at discharge is great - if I have my back turned and I hear the sound of it, I just drop and duck.Great - Great fun.Buy it - have fun with your kids!

My nephew wanted a real bow and arrow set but to comply with his wishes and also his parents I opted for this safe alternative. He was more than thrilled when he opened the present and couldn't wait to use it. And my sister was very pleased that she didn't have to monitor him in the back yard like she does with his BB gun. Even if shot (accidentally of course) at someone at close range these aren't going to do any damage. Since the product only came with three darts I purchsed the recommended refills (Four New Cross Bow Bolt Refill Pack - Foam Arrows) which fit on okay but didn't launch quite as high. My boyfriend was able to determine that these are a lil longer and don't hug the launcher at the base quite as well. Snipping an inch or so off the bottoms/base did the trick and allowed these arrow to preform like the ones that came with the bow. Definitely a good buy all in all and especially for the price.

I bought this for my grandson, it didn't work from the beginning and I replaced it with the same product from Toys R Us for half the price.

I figured that the range would've been better with the "arrows" having fins for stabilization, but firing them parallel to ground (PTG) did not yield good results. Sure they were straighter, but if you really want range, you'll have to both mod & fire from an angle.

I really like this 'bow', its too bad you can't get it in stores anymore it seems, but thats what Amazon is for and why I love it.Its a little tricky to put together at first- definitely at least glance at the instructions.I put ikea furniture together all the time without looking at instructions- but for this I did.it seems really sturdy and its a lot of fun.

Says new, with labels and instructions, but it's not. Did not come in the original box, came in an amazon box wrapped in plastic no instructions and not three bows but only two.

This nerf bow is the best nerf product that I have ever purchased. The best thing is that the dart is larger than the bullets. We can take this outside and not lose them.

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. He plays with it constantly and the nerd arrows are are in the house.
