Defective
After installation, this part would make a plastic knocking sound when engine was running. Quickly bought a better purge valve solenoid, replaced it, and problem was solved. Lesson learned, don't rely on this part, pay a little more for a better one that works

Fixed the bad code and very inexpensive. DIY and save a ton.
Worked like claimed with an easy install. We did have to have the CE light reset after replacing but hasn’t come back on for a few weeks.

Much cheaper alternative, that fixed the issue!
This part was 1/4 of the price the dealership wanted and fixed the issue. Check engine light went off and issue has been corrected. I was able to install in a matter of minutes.
