Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera - Pink

My daughter (3) absolutely loves this camera! She can't quite figure out how to take pictures on her iPad, and constantly uses my phone as a (more expensive!) camera, so I wanted to get her something to occupy her without jeopardizing my electronics! Like other reviews indicated, the quality isn't going to compare to the most basic of smartphones, and there is a slight delay with the shutter, but overall it's better than I thought it would be.Pros:DURABLE!Buttons are receptive to light(er) touches, and well sized for small fingersAuto shut-off feature saves batteriesZoom x 4Picture review is easy and quicker than I expectedDeleting is easy for adults; my daughter has yet to delete a picPC connectivity/download (cable not included)Can use either preview screen or eye viewer to take picsRealistic size/weight4Cons:The only real "cons" I have is the picture quality and the shutter delay, but my daughter doesn't seem to notice or care. We gave this camera to my 2 and a half year old daughter at the hospital when her little sister was born. I wanted to get her a big sister gift and this seemed perfect because it would give her the opportunity to take pictures of her little sister and hopefully help her feel less jealous of her little sister. My daughter was thrilled to open it when she came to see her sister for the first time. She was able to turn it on herself and easily manage taking pictures. She instantly started taking picutres of everyone. She has continued to use it often. When I take out my camera and start taking pictures she runs to her room and grabs hers. We have had the camera for about 6 months and have had no issues with it.As far as the quality of the pictures is concerned we have yet to look at the pictures on the computer. I'm sure someday we will but my daughter enjoys taking the pictures so much she never asks to hook it up to see them. She will sometimes review them on the little screen on the camera. I'm not too concerned with the quality of the pictures because I'm not expecting it to take frame worthy pictures. Most of the time my daughter ends up taking pictures of the sky or the ground anyways.For the price you really can't go wrong. And it really is kid-tough, most of the time it is thrown in the toy box with my daughter's other toys and it doesn't have any noticeable wear to it.

This camera is perfect for my 3 year old. It's tough enough to handle her rough play but still takes a decent picture she can view and review over and over.... and she likes reviewing what she's taken and showing people her pictures almost more than she likes taking the pictures in the first place. She is so pleased, you can tell she feels powerful and in charge with this toy. She loves the pink exterior and one of my favorite features is that the size helps her place her fingers properly so the lens doesn't get covered up by her fingers. Before, if I let her borrow my own camera, it was almost always a fingers picture. I am surprised at some of the quality pictures she's taken with this camera. I didn't expect much... and there are still plenty of pictures that are blurred from her moving too fast while capturing but there are plenty of nice pictures too. I haven't printed anything from them yet.

Pros: The camera is rugged, easy to use, and kids seems to really like it.Cons: The pictures are terrible.Solution: Give the kids an old digital camera.Gave this camera to my three year old and she liked it, but wanted to use our digital camera. Gave her a couple year old samsung and she now used the real one exclusively. She recognizes the difference with zoom and video mode. Would not recommend this toy to a child older than 3.

This camera was purchased for a 3 yr old that loves to take photos on any cell phone she can get her hands on. It was a huge hit'. Now she has her own camera and can take it anywhere. it is incredibly simple to use, takes very nice photos that can be stored in camera, easy to delete any "bad photos", as well as being able to review the photos which she loves.doing. She had it mastered within 2 minutes. It is very sturdy and the rubberized sides make it easy for little hands to hold on to the camera as well as protecting it if is dropped. She has not gone one day without using it and loves to show her photos to everyone. It can also be used by connecting to a web site to make albums etc. but has not done that yet. This was the best buy in a toy that I have seen in a long time.

I bought this as a gift for my sister for her 5th birthday. She absolutely loves it and takes it everywhere. I think a camera is a great present for a child, they'll never get tired of it--this one was affordable and VERY durable. The buttons are perfect for children; I didn't even have to instruct her on how to use this toy. The screen is a little bit small, and the pictures aren't very good quality, but keep in mind this IS a toy. It shuts off on its own, so you don't need to worry about battery drainage. Perfect present for any child..I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy a toy for a 3-7 year-old! (:

Takes excellent pictures, sturdy and durable. A great first camera.
