NOODLER'SInk Refills Ottoman Rose Bottled Ink - ND-19028

The glass bottle, like all Noodler’s ink bottles, is filled to the very top, so careful when opening it.The color is a Lovely, very dark rose-pink. Well named Ottoman Rose. Smooth flowing ink. Even in one of my dryer pens, it lays down quite a bit of ink with no skips or breaks in the writing. A wet ink, that does not dry instantly, maybe not the best choice for left handed writers. There is no bleed through on my cheap journal paper.This may well become my favorite ink.

Thank goodness I have a broad & 1.1 stub nibbed pens. Ottoman Rose really shows itself with a broad, stub or calligraphy nib. With an extra fine, or nib, you will not truly see the nice shading that this ink provides. With the medium nib I was just able to see what potential shading there could be had in this color. Overall with my 1.1 stub, it is a deep rich rose red, with lovely shading. On the Rhodia Dotpad I experienced no feathering or bleedthrough.' With my Rohrer & Klingner glass dip pen, I was also able to see that dark rich shading. Of course with the broad nibs, the dry times take a bit longer. My computer does not take the best snaps, however, you can see how using a broader nib brings out a deeper color.

The first time I ordered this ink I actually received the wrong ink. This was a simple case ofmixing up the packages. However, upon submitting a return request I the mistake was very quickly made right.I received the correct ink quickly after submitting the request.I've used this ink for about two years now, since having also picked up their Black.All I can say about noodler ink is that I am amazed at the astonishing price for the amount ofink you receive. Without a doubt my favorite brand of ink I have used,and the Ottoman Rose ink specifically looks, flows and feels exquisite alongside my Dark Purple Lamy-AStar.

When I opened the padded envelope containing my ink, the box was covered and saturated with red ink and I immediately thought the bottle had broke during shipping. I carefully removed the bottle and was relieved that the bottle was not broken, just a little inky mess. I think some ink seeped out from an overfull bottle during original packaging, because the lid on the bottle was not loose, and the ink on my hands easily washed off.I inked up my Moonman T1 with the ink and it writes beautifully, so I rated the product 5 stars for its quality. I just took off one star for packaging, not much ink was lost in the bottle and everything cleaned up quite well.

I'm not a fan of red inks as a general rule unless they are much darker but this is stunning without being garish. Eye catching but subdued.Yes, an "Old Rose" red. Elegant.Moderately wet, but well behaved ink. Some shading in a med nib. This would be great for Valentines Day notes.I'm primarily using this in an extra fine platinum preppy for work markups.Love it.

i just loved this shade. i wanted one deep red which can be diluted in beautiful rose pink. and this it the one.

I got this ink to go in my pink Twsbi Eco, and they're a match made in heaven! The ink is smooth and we'll pigmented and looks great on the page. Dry time is a little slow on Rhodia paper and noticeably longer on Clairefontaine. Just be careful - the bottle is filled to the brim and will spill if you don't take caution! I knew ahead of time and managed to avoid losing ink, so watch how you open it. Easily my favorite ink.

Fantastic ink, smooth as heck! However, it came with a FULL bottle, like full up to the top. So be careful when you open the bottle! Make sure you have towers and such in hand. Colour is very nice, it's just as it describes, just like rose. A tiny bit on the cooler side of red, barely. Refer to the official colour guide on their website if you want to see.

Beautiful tinge of red/ rose, dark enough for everyday writing. My second bottle of Noodlers - probably some of the best inks out there.

I really enjoy writing with this ink. On a decent paper, it shades nicely in this beautiful burgundy colour.

Great colour. Flows well. Slightly prone to feathering.
