I've used these on & off for years. Love to see Amazon lets us get a better price than many places. That will keep me coming back. Here's some tips: Make sure you've removed body lotion from site you're going to use patch on. You'll get better adherence. You can cut the patch to fit a smaller area. That's why I get this slightly larger size patch. The arnica in this patch is the element that will help with sore muscles & the essential oils in (like cayenne) will slightly warm the area for circulation. There is another formula for Muscle & Nerve that has no arnica but uses hylychrissum (very healing) and some mint essential oils. These will be slightly cooling. That may help some people with nerve pain (like sciatica). You could use both patches for different sites on the body. But be patient. It may take a few hours (or even a day) to begin to take effect initially. And then I've left mine on for up to 48 hrs with effect. Because I'm using these for physical symptoms (sore muscles, spasms, or nerve pain) I put these on the area of pain. (For emotional needs like stress, PMS, sleep I might use that type of patch on the chest to let me smell the aroma of the essential oil & provide benefits that way.) Good luck. Love these patches for the clean ingredients.Only suggestion is they need to be a bit stronger in pain relieving ability - perhaps more milligrams included into the patch? One thing that does help is if you also apply heat to it (like sitting in heated seats in a car or laying on a heating pad) that does “activate” the ingredients more, but then it kind of melts the patch on so it’s a bit harder to pull off. Regardless, I love the clean ingredients. Thank you for a great overall product!

I am so glad that this product is offered in various sizes. I live with chronic pain disorders, and, I'm accident prone. If you use Ben Gay or Tiger Balm but you hate the way it smells, or perhaps it burns? Switch to this natural product. The large patch can be kept whole and slapped on a sore lower back, cut in half and adhered to your pelvic region when you have menstrual cramps. Or cut into assorted sizes and shapes and it does NOT loose it's adhesive quality or medicinal delivery. This is a must-have in my medicine cabinet. I hope to try some other scents some time, but these are essential in my pain management regime. Thx for making a reliable, helpful product.

This product really worked! I expected it to work, just not this well! I have 12 pinched nerves in my back! Ouch! I have tried ALMOST everything. I am very happy with the "bang for the buck" I receive from this product. Long lasting, no unpleasant odor, soothing relief! Next time I am going to buy a CARLOAD of these! these patches are amazing! Such a natural approach to pain management. As a nurse, i use them, my 32 yr old daughter (a massage therapist) uses them and my 85 yr old Mom uses them! I use some of their other patches too. Thank you Vermont made!
