Fine representation of a gorgeous aircraft
Biased as I am on scale modeling, this Concorde SST from Deutsche Revell is only slightly sub-par for what I have come to expect from German Revell, but only in a slight manner. I was less impressed with the flight deck detailing than I've seen elsewhere, though it may just be me. I have seen what the newest issue of the Airfix kit has done and that cockpit is much better detailed. This kit (itself based on an earlier version of Airfix's) otherwise is very nice- especially the detailing on the exterior- and I cite the primary ogee wings- good stuff. There is no passenger interior and if there were, it'd be hard to detect. Windows (except for cockpit including the posable droop nose) are non-existent, though the ambitious modelercould rectify that. This is a very nice, beautiful large kit of a type aircraft we may not see again in quite some time.

looks like 1970th or 1980th standard
The version of this kit is old, looks like 1970th or 1980th standard. Simple cockpit: the panel is in good shape but the chairs are awful. The biggest problem is the fitting. Since it is an old, large kit, you'd better have some expectations. I almost spend half time on sanding.Good decals. This one suits experienced modeller. This can be a large, beautiful kit, but it definitely requires a lot of patients.

nice model but the moveable nose is a bear and ...
nice model but the moveable nose is a bear and building it in the closed cruise mode requires much fussing and filling.

Great model
Great model for the price! Worth every penny! Decals came with no cover though.

It’s to expensive you can get something better for that price
It’s the worst thing I’ve ever bought cheap plastic and to pay over $100.00 for it you should get something better it was supposed to be a great center piece for my living room

Impressive kit once you've beaten it!
This 1/72 Concorde kit has been around for a while now, sold by Heller, Airfix and now Revell. The Revell decals are for the final British Airways Concorde colour scheme, so if you want to model Air France, look for the Heller kit. If you want an earlier British Airways version, look online for an old Airfix kit, as they're all the same plastic mouldings. It has previously received some bad reports and has become notorious for the fuselage parts not lining up. I never experienced this, and found that the model built up really well. There are some really annoying glitches, such as the 'droop snoot' mechanism being too fragile, but a fairly experienced modeller can overcome these. I wouldn't recommend this kit for someone with little experience, there are easier Concorde models in the smaller 1/144 scale. But the kit, once made, is big! Nose to tail, about 86cm, and looks impressive on display. Because of silly glitches it should get a 2 or 3 out of 5, but because of it's sheer size and beauty once made I give it a 4, and yes, I do intend to build another one soon!

Nice scale for this iconic aircraft
Disappointed that detail of the engines is a bit lacking for such a large scale .... Jet Inlet throat adjustment and the compressor fans could havebeen detailed so that some of the interior engine detail was visible, similarly the jet exhaust could have had a little more detail ... movable 'reverse thrusters' perhapsno 'glass' for the windows ..... and no interior seating detail or cock pit .... I will use 'acitate' to simulate the windowsand propose to fit a navigation lights , interior cabin subdued lighting and Jet 'After-Burner ' LED model lighting kits

Worst kit ever, ok if you don't mind doing some corrective surgery?!!
This is a copy of the email I sent to Revell about this kit:Dear Sir/Madam. I recently bought the Concorde 1:72 kit from you.I've always preferred Revell to other companies but I was dismayed when I started building this kit. I realised something was very wrong when I built the nose section. The retractable wind shield was way too long and after further investigation discovered the whole lenth of the nose section was wrong. I have had to "adjust" this with a craft knife, removing about 15mm of plastic from the nose and windshield and reshaping them. It isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it looks better than it was. I would like some sort of acknowledgement that this was an oversight by the designer of the kit, perhaps even some money refunded or some other token?May I suggest you also inform the designer of the huge blunder in this kit? It is a real shame. Concorde deserves a better tribute than this!!I can send photos if you need them.To summorize: Don't buy this unless you are prepared to perform surgery on the nose section to make it accurate!!

Schönes Modell
Ein Manko ist die Konstruktion der absenkbaren Flugzeug Nase, ansonsten kann man den Kauf empfehlen
