Onkyo LS-B50 6.1-Channel 3D Sound Bar

I bought a refurbished model a couple of months ago and i am very pleased! Saved hundreds, i use this system in my bedroom for movies and music. Both sound excellent, bluetooth is easy to use, setup is a breeze, controls are simple yet adequit, wireless sub is amazing. If bells and whistles are your thing than this isnt for you. If you want good quality sound and reliability than pick this system from Onkyo up.

It worked great for a year, it turns on and off when it wants to. Don’t waste your money. Now is just a dust collector on my wall.

First, I would say the soundbar is definitely not worth the original $599. I got it for a good deal and paid $330 inclusive of tax. I am happy with the price and the sound bar is good and works as expected. The subwoofer has too much bass and sometimes gets annoying especially while watching movies. It does not have a separate clear voice feature, but the movie mode does some justice to it but still I realize you got to keep controlling the volume during the movie.Since it does not have a display, its hard to say what mode are you at. There is a feature to make it play in "Main" , "Sub" and "Main + Sub" by holding the surround mode button. I seriously could not hear any difference.Overall if you get this sound bar for $320 - $340 I would say grab it and you wont regret for anything more you have better choices.Sound Quality - You can rely on Onkyo brand, you are safe

Sound is good enough. Negative issue is unit shuts off on own and does NOT turn back on with pier in of ancillary device-TV, sound system etc. this is well documented by other users.

This review isn't so much a rebuke of the Onkyo LS-B50 as it is to the state of the sound bar industry. I was tired of looking at my bulky component audio system so I rolled the dice on this setup instead.It works as good as I expected... i.e. like an overpriced set of computer speakers. I have tried all the connection options: optical, coaxial, and analog and found that the latter was the best option as the two former caused a bit of audio delay that left the sound out of sync with the picture.There are three settings; news, movie, music. Movie is the best one, the other two sound awful. It's best just to adjust the volume of the sub in movie mode.But, I don't think there's anything better out there if you want low profile for under $1K.

I just purchased this sound bar to replace a dead Harmon Kardon surround sound system. Set up was surprisingly easy. I ran a single optical cable from my tv to the sound bar. I have hdmi cables from my satellite box and blu-ray to my tv. I can use my tv remote and switch back and forth between them and the sound bar picks it up seamlessly.Very good sound clarity. It won't make your windows shatter, but the sound is quite loud enough and the voices are clear, not being over run by the background. Overall I'm very pleased with this unit and would recommend it to others.

Good afternoon.I use this speaker system for about a year.Stunning, deep sound at any volume level!The main criterion for selection systems was deep bass. Surprisingly, now the bass level is always at a minimum)! He's a terrific !!!Main dostoinstava system:1) The deep, clear sound no matter how loud! Nor any distortion!2) Automatic switching system when you turn on the TV !;3) Automatic shutdown of the system when not in use4) Ability to connect via bluetooth!You will not regret buying this system!Good luck to all

Worked grear for a year and half and suddenly stopped working . Doono how to get it fixed.
